If you were a Lucky For Life winner...
I just checked the UK Lottery website for 'win for life' games and we don't have any except for 1 scratcher which costs 1 and it's not even win for life, it's win 1000 a month for a year! https://www.national-lottery.co.uk/c/files/scratchcards/1kamonthforayear.pdf~2 Camelot really need to revamp the other 2 draws/games they have.... Thunderball is terrible and Hot Picks doesn't seem to be all that good either, it's just a game that piggybacks off the UK Lotto results!

Are you playing to win for yourself, the family or some charity after you gone?
Hi noise-gate, I play for my family and for myself. My dream would be to win enough money for me to retire from working. It might have been different if I had a career that I loved but most of my life I've worked in low paying jobs and it would be nice to just be able to have the time to do what I want to do with my life. One of my main reasons for playing the lottery almost 4 years ago was to be able to pay the college tuition for my daughter. I would also like to be able to help my elderly

Do family members or friends think you should stop playing the lottery?
Hi Artist77, I thank you for your concern. The sadness and dejection you speak of by playing can be a common feeling when one doesn't win. In terms of my speaking to a skilled professional I have tried therapy in the past for my depression/anxiety but never was able to make progress. Does playing the lottery make my depression worse, it's really hard to say. In some ways it's the one thing I seem to look forward to when I pick up a scratch ticket or play a draw game. I'm not expecting you to

Is everyone playing the lottery in hopes of being able to retire, what are your reasons for playing?
Hi Elizabeth03, It seems like we had the bad jobs thing in common. Like yourself I'm also getting older and I'm just tired of working in low paying jobs and having people on a daily basis treat me like crap. I'm sorry to hear about your bad living situation, hope it improves for you. Hope you are able to win someday to make your life easier. I understand what you said about putting a lot of pressure on yourself to win. For me when my job and personal life are getting me more depressed that's

Is everyone playing the lottery in hopes of being able to retire, what are your reasons for playing?
That is an excellent question; and I want to play the numbers to win enough to retire yes.. I have had alot of bad jobs in my life and I am getting older and tired, and really want to win enough to breathe a sigh of relief and be able to go with the flow more in life.. I live in a bad situation currently and want to win , so that I can move out and to somewhere more comfortable for me and my cat.. I do put alot of pressure on myself to win, which I want to relax more in that area, and enjo

Money and Happiness
I still play lottery every week, almost every day, but with the years, more the time goes by, more I don't expect to win. Playing for me, it's more a habit than expecting TO WIN SOMETHING. it's more like a cigarettes addiction than drugs addiction if one can compare. I don't like the Casino and scratch off tickets, I never play them. I really hate casinos. it's not about happiness, it's if I win, I win, if I don't too bad , but it won't change anything. 3 times in my life I missed the Jackpot of

How the Lottery Changed my Life
So I watched this show last night and got to listen to Ms. Stafford first hand on how she believes she won the lottery. She indicated how she wrote down 112,000,000 and visualized herself winning the money and within 3 months she won...That being said, I have begun to visualize my BIG WIN for the last 8 weeks - so I think my time is just about to come.....4/22/10 is the day I win POWERBALL - I am claiming it right now --LOL If I do win, I will hold a party for LP members to come and cel

The best way to enjoy lottery is not to...
Marcie, I have learned a long time ago to speak for myself, and not for the whole world! I share my thoughts and if, it is the same as some one else; all's well and good, If not, I respect that too. Sometimes however, we feel so passionetly about something, someone or a point of View, that we can come off as if trying to push it/them down someones throat! I think many have been guilty of that myself included; what is life without Passion! without Passion we might as well lay down and vegetate! S

El Gordo sounds much better than MM or PB!
Relatively smaller prizes for more people out there? That sounds more reasonable than MM or PB. Why doesn't US create such kind of lottery game? And, I stated this in my previous post. Why don't more states have Win a certain amount of money per week for life ? Doesn't that sound more reasonable? NY has it. CA used to have $1000 per week for life . Nobody needs to win 20 to 30 millions. Guys like me just want to go back to school and finish some glorified trade schools called art colleges.

Anybody playing lottery out of revenge?
Since I am playing the lottery out of bitter revenge, I want my prize to be obscenely huge. And I don't want to share my prize with any F-ers out there. You know, I wonder if 40 mil prize is enough for me to bring my life story to Oprah and People Magazine. Actually, I have two different sets of numbers from two separate dreams. If I win jackpots twice with the numbers I saw in my two separate dreams, that would be something, right? If I win a big one, I am definitely going public: USA
