Just be thankfull it's a broadcast machine drawing. One can only wonder what problems there are with computer drawings especially with rigging them.

I don't think that any of these lotteries care about the players at all. They are far less responsive to players than even indian casino's or online games both of which are eating into their sales. WA state is just an example. First they stopped having the drawings broadcast even though putting the drawings on the web would have cost them very little then they switch to computer drawings. Actually, VA Lottery broadcasts their drawings to all the VA TV stations free of charge, and your local station could air the drawing if they wanted. VA Lottery no longer pays the stations to air the drawings, that's why the stations stopped airing them. Lobby your local station to start airing it again. I don't see how watching it on TV could assuage anyone's suspicion that it's a live drawing though. If you don't believe the drawings aired online is live, why would you believe one broadcast

It's my understanding in Maryland that the ball sets they will use for a drawing are picked by a computer. Leaving out the human element as to some employee favoring a specific set of balls in their locked ball cabinets. All the balls in the cabinets are calibrated to within specific weights and measurements.
