Technical problem delays MM drawingReply
Its happened more than once with Powerball as I've been watching their drawings every time for the last 5 years. They always announce there is a problem during the live broadcast. Did anyone here see the live broadcast tonight for Megamillions?

The NYL's problem iz, they don't broadcast the game drawing on tv. NOT EVERYBODY HAS ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. But they have access to a few hard earned dollars to lose. I found a blurb on the official Lotto America website https://www.powerball.com/games/lotto-america Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday after 11 p.m. ET at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee using mechanical machines and ball sets. I like to watch the drawing about an hour to an hour and half after the live drawing on the internet since it is not broadcast were I live in mcminnville, oregon. One thing I have noticed is the annuity is not even making it to the estimated jackpot lately. Out of the last three drawings two of them have come up short so I think that powerball is going to like being the only big jackpot now because they should not be falling short this wednesday night of $311 million.-weshar75

At least they televise it that's more than most lotteries can claim now. Who knows how Wa. state picks their balls anymore since there are no tapes and no broadcast drawings.

Yes it's lame that they don't broadcast the drawings anymore however the rest is really out there.You might want to lay off of what ever that was.If anything it should show that player that he should have covered all the Megaballs not just a few of them.Now if you want to call the Governor's race a scam then yes, it was a scam. No, I haven't heard anything about a problem with the Powerball drawing. Then again, I don't receive that broadcast in my area, so I couldn't have seen it for myself. It may have been that your local TV station experienced some kind of problem (instead of the lottery itself).

Ok, you probably think, wtf, everyone seen this post before and theres a few websites that claim that the machines used to draw the numbers have been rigged, some claim that heavy gasses are used and sometime they use helium to make the balls lighter, etc... A good rule of thumb is that the media never does anything because it's in the public interest. If it didn't serve the media's interest you probably wouldn't be seeing it. How often have you seen a news brief that reads something along the lines of Important medical news that could save your life. Details at 11. They hear that a plane might have crashed and they have to interrupt a show to beat the other networks, but news that could save your life has to wait until the regular broadcast. C

Brad, I did see that the :10 was approximately the number of seconds into the broadcast, by the 3 does not match with the drop of the first ball. It is actually 6 seconds. Windows Media Player has a small time counter on the bottom, so I was able to easily count the number of seconds. You may be right about it; maybe they were late in starting it, I don't know.
