How much do you "Owe," in this Lottery situation?
Interesting question. I always play for the cash value, which would probably be around $500 million, give or take. So, I would give him half. In this scenario, I couldn't play without his help, but if I had not bought the ticket there would not be a jackpot win. So, split the jackpot.
Besides, $250 million for each would take care of both of us for life.

Murphy's Law
I don't propose to speak for God, but in my opinion, life itself is a gamble. Every human on earth had a 1 in 300 million chance of getting here. Once you've beaten the odds to get here, you must often overcome obstacles and challenges.
Sometimes win, sometimes lose, but it's all a gamble, you see.

2024 New Years Message
I hope this message helps someone's life this year, and helps to refine your intuition enough to choose the correct numbers to play in the lottery.
Personally, I have decided to step up from Pick 3 to Pick 4, or maybe even the SC Pick 5 lottery, b/c I realized that I was previously so focused on a small payout, that I was limiting myself, and not open to Universal Abundance . I thought Pick 3 would be easier to win, but you have to wager more $$$ to get a higher payout in Pick 3, and you're

Probability of Winning the Powerball Jackpot
Actually for 19 years (more than 7 years before you appeared) Gary has helped many LP members with their ideas of how to win lottery games and creating software programs. Next time someone asks why don't they post any more? we can use your post as an example and the obvious reason why many of the real lottery players no longer post.
They need to get a job or volunteer in their community.
It sure looks like you have a problem with people on a lottery based message board discuss playing l

I will change the way I buy Cash4life tickets.
Indeed that's a good option to have should one win twice.
Thanks to your post I have decided to pursue a new way of play.
I will now buy two lines of Cash 4 Life for a 5 day multi draw - Monday through Friday - for 20 bucks. Will just have it all on one ticket.
Will do this for the month of November and see how it goes.

Lotto Jackpot Questions
The Lottery Officials would not and could not by law pay you the jackpot twice. The advertised jackpot amount is a fixed amount. However, they'd probably cut you one check for the full amount of the advertised jackpot (minus taxes) but that's IF you are the sole winner.
If you were not the sole winner, then the parimutuel aspect of the game kicks in. If you had either of two winning tickets or two identical lines printed on your ticket then you'd win two thirds of the advertised jackpot amo

Much Would You Invest?
I'm guessing. 10% just sounds like a good number off the top of my head.
I'd have to do an Aaron Rodgers; go dark, figure out how much netting $70,000 impacts my life, consider my wants and needs. And like anyone else, I could find something.
Then there's always the thought of splitting the win with the kids and giving $1,000 bonuses to some friends.

Biggest reason for Lottery Winners going broke soon? :/
That happened to Callie Rogers, Britain's youngest Lottery Winner at 16. She had lots of Friends, when she had her roughly $2 Million, and they dumped her as soon as most of the money was gone. She said she felt she was supposed to live her life up with the $2 Million and that's why she blew that roughly $2 Million. Interesting that she said something like, I'm not going to be one of those Idiots who blow through their huge Lottery wins I'm going to be wise with the money, and ended up blowing t

Wit and Wisdom of old lottery players...
Chance is a word void of sense; nothing can exist without a cause .
Each player must accept the cards life deal him or her , but once they are in hand, he or she alone, must decide how they are going to play the card in order to win the game. `
