Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe the man's lottery win wasn't a multi-million dollar win, but it was enough to buy a condo at the time he won the lottery. My brother didn't know how long the man had lived in the condo, nor did he know how much the man had paid for it. He only knew the price the man was asking for it. And you're correct, a FF5 jackpot win isn't that life changing given the price of everything these days. I play FF5 because it's far easier to win than PowerBall and MegaMillions.

What I'm about to write absolutely stinks, but it's a sad fact of life. Of the millions of players that buy lottery tickets a few players will win a lottery jackpot, but most never will. Given that sad fact of life, it's a big reason why I won't buy midday FF5 tickets. The chances are very good that I wont ever win a FF5 jackpot. So true. I think many people fall for the more ways to win line. When in reality, it's just more ways for you to part with your money. I was looking at one of the posts about a $50 scratch off. The rules said there were 43.5 million tickets printed and 9.65 million were winners. Top prize (2) a million for life and 2nd prize (234) a million. So much for my ten dollar QP ticket. It had three or four lines with one number. Without the software I have and use, it's tough to win anything. Although I know that I'll still need a lot of luck in addition the software to win a FF5 jackpot, the software does make a noticeable difference in terms of winning small prizes. I didn't have a combo on any of the other tickets and I didn't have number 11 (which would have changed my life!) on any of the 5 tickets. Happy with the win. This game is kind of wonky though!

There's something I cant help but wonder about. I just took a look at The Top Prize Winner and Retailer Report. Most of the winners are from the evening drawing (no big surprise there) but there are quite a few winners from the midday draw listed. (That's because there are multiple winners of very small jackpot amounts.) Are those players deliberately playing in the midday drawing, or did they buy their ticket in the morning thinking it would be good for the evening draw but unknowingly

When I read other forums here at The Lottery Post, I some times learn something new. There are some incredibly smart lottery players posting their thoughts on playing smartly in just about any forum you'd care to read.
