What do you think about this guy?
Yes, but is that just a coincidence? The woman in the news article today who won $9 million when she was just a step away from losing her home prayed for money. Did God send her the winning ticket or was she just lucky? I mean, there has to be at least 10 million people every Saturday praying on their hands and knees, so why was she picked? Most people don't remember much about their dreams, which is why I find it so interesting that so many LP members write I had a dream about... If y

Popping corn
Read an article from Newport news about a psychic from Rhode Island, who claims he can guess any card being thought of by a squirrel

cool article on luck
I dont think the point of the article was that people dont get lucky sometimes - as is the case with QP winners - but that to some extent one creates ones own luck in life. The one and only time I went to the track I won big on the very first bet I placed. Before each race they walk the horses around a circle so you can check them out. As one horse walked by me it looked right at me and sorta nodded (i know sounds kinda weird..but my two rather conservative friends saw it as well). Of course

cool article on luck
The author of that article needs to spend some time around race tracks, sports books, casinos, and lottery players. Hey professor = Quick Pick Jackpot winner, explain that one.

interesting article
Hi JustXploring, Yes, it definitely seems somewhat amazing to think one can will a number to hit. But then and again, the man in the article has had an above average success rate. I think he won every possible combo for CA lotto (ie 3/6, 4/6 5/6 6/6) as well as other smaller prizes. In my life I have found that belief can make a big difference. I think with the lottery however, most of us subconsciously expect to lose. It's conditioned into us as we lose on a regular basis. Whether or not

interesting article
Hey kjsfriend, In case you forgot, this is the MYSTICAL FORUM, for people who enjoy such discourse (which judging from your post you do not). Did you even read the article? Be a bit humble? Are you kidding me? All I did was post a link. Have a nice day.

Black boxes, numbers, and mass awareness?
I sort of hope there will be more discussion on this issue. I don't even know whether the article is true, or something someone concocted and posted on the web.But I do see the numbers behaving in non-random ways, ways I don't know where to begin to understand. I think something is influencing them to behave in those ways, as has been discussed on another thread that's running right now.Maybe it's the stars, but I have a difficult time believing it. Maybe it's moon phases, which might be eas

New ~ "More Manifestation"
Quote: Originally posted by Rip Snorter on April 4, 2005Good stuff, Konane:I think my only argument with this is that the word, concept of 'faith' feels a bit understated. If a person achieves knowing there's no need for believing. It comes in the package. Faith is a boat riding along on the surface of a river

"Imagination is Power!
Enjoyed the article! I can't figure out, though, why sometimes my imagination works really well and things manifest like magic, and other times I can wear myself out with trying to image and create and visualize, only to have it either a) not happen at all or b) happen when I no longer want it to happen! One example. About 10 years ago I wanted to become a professional dog show handler. I was already involved deeply in dogs, showing, handling and winning with my own .... but couldn't seem to

Winning Mystically
Thank you for posting that great experiment, Konane! That's really cool. Have you personally tried it yet?! I want to!! We did an experiment with music therapy and plants once. Potted some seeds, gave them all exact light, water, soil ... but played them differing music for an hour each day. The plants that received classical music grew the largest and fastest. New age music group grew second largest. Plants listening to country and rock mostly grew the same as the control group. Plants
