We have 6 Internet Cafes in Ohio
The article I gave a link to was from a Cleveland Community, quoted Ohio law, and the part in yellow was a quote from the article. But owners are prohibited from awarding cash jackpots or prizes worth more than $10, rules that threaten to choke an industry casino operators and other critics say is a facade for illegal gambling. The article mentions a player apparently illegally winning $1600 and quotes the Ohio Attorney General saying they all should be closed down. And it's Legal. I'm j

I read the article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer and then saw where you are still playing in those places. It's either legal or illegal for those places to payout over $10 in cash awards and according to the article it's illegal. If you don't know about that, why are you talking about it and/or gambling in those places?

Talk to management about creating a rule that prohibits other LP members from disagreeing with threads and posts. Good luck with that because civil disagreement is part of discussion and without it, there is no Lottery Post. Fact 1, I gave a link to a Cleveland Plain Dealer article that clearly stated the $10 is the largest legal cash payoff these places can give. Fact 2, The article quoted the Ohio Attorney General as saying many of these places are fronts for illegal activities.

Online Gaming
Yeah, the same article appeared in USA Today last week. The author obviously has no experience with PlayLot -- especially lumping them in with a risky site like buypowerballonline.com -- but at least she set the record straight on that scam site Lottery Universe.Lottery officials, like the one quoted in the article, have a duty to say don't do it , because that's the politically correct thing to say. The fact remains however, that PlayLot has been around for so long because they are an exce

I picked up a Discover Magazine today in a waiting room and found an article that might be of interest here. The Blog pointed to here belongs to the object of the article, who is the husband of the author. I especially like his response to the first comment! http://discover.coverleaf.com/discovermagazine/201011?folio=58 pg60#pg60 The article itself is linked at the top of the Blog. BTW, if you're persistant, you can blow it up to a readable type size! Here's a teaser: Chess is like cl

Internet Lotteries.
Read where the Minnesota Lottery is now offering a form of Internet wagering, but waited on a LP News article before mentioning it. It looks like most state lotteries are waiting to see how it goes before offering all of their ticket games.
