There's something else you all should know about this too! The first name of my brother that won the hundred bucks is Alan. I just called my other brother and told him about what had happened with me and Al and that raffle ticket. My other brother pointed out two things to me... First he said; You're a fool for doing a Al favor and buying a raffle ticket for him, because if you're that upset about him winning a hundred bucks, how'd you feel if it was a million dollars he won? This is mi

Very sound advice Butch...very sound and thanks for posting here. I too have my limit. I can afford to play more lines/games than I actually do. To me, the lottery is a sucker bet. I play it because I enjoy tracking NY Take5 numbers and trying to come up with a strategy that might win me some money. As for PB MM, I'm in a pool at work, but we don't play either MM or PB unless one or the other has a jackpot above 200 million. Even then, we play one drawing per week, usually the Friday nigh

Thanks kap. When I started playing regularly back in April of 2009, a Friday night JP was worth 100K+.... it has steadily been decling since then. Yeah, the lousy economy probably does have something to do with that, but I still believe lottery ticket sales see a surge during a bad economy. So, what happened??? Where did all the big T5 JP's go? Compare it with the Sweet MIllion stats NY State posts on their lottery website. Sure, you see player interest spike when they have that buy 5 get

5/39 and $100! Ideas??
Yeah I saw that on the IL lottery website.(I need to go back and read it) The raffle I'm talking about is a church raffle. Tickets are $100 a piece, the number of tickets is limited and top prize is $50,000. I've bought these tickets a few times and didn't get upset that I didn't win. Sometimes you just have to take a chance. That's why I'm willing to spend the $100 on Little Lotto. I see it as more of a challenge than anything.....but a fun challenge. I need to sit down and start working out

Thank you for your suggestions. I have not won a lot lately until I won the 50/50 raffle at church for $185.00 so maybe my luck is improving. I have $80 to spend on my numbers. I am waiting a while until the time is right.

Yeah Zio... I saw that $204,000 jackpot win. Good to see that. Congrats on your 50/50 raffle win. You did the right thing by giving half of it to the church. Maybe somebody in Heaven will see what you did and say One good turn deserves another! G5

Now, lately, I haven't said too much about The Mrs. G5... That's mainly because nothing too exciting has been happening with her...until today that is. This morning she drove over to Pennsylvania on a business trip, but before she left she asked me if I wanted her to buy me any Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle tickets. See, she doesn't know that PA is NOT running a raffle right now, so I told her that if she wanted to, she could buy me a scratch off over there. Anyway, she called me toni

In case you're wondering, #'s 6 and 10 are the other all time biggest T5 hitters. #6 has 947 hits and #10 has 917. It seems kind of funny to me that certain numbers always seem to stay at the top of the number of hits list. #17 is a good example of that, it seems to always be at the top of the number of hits list year after year. But what about the numbers at the bottom of the number of hits list? Do the numbers down there seem to stay there too? Yeah, they do. The all time T5 least hitter

Driving over to PA one day this week. Gonna get some PA Millionaire Raffle tickets. 12 days left to sell tickets and right now just under 200,000 have been sold out of a possible 500,000. It might be that they wont sell out and that approximately 300,000 to 350,000 will sell. If that happens, that'd take the odds down to 1 in 75,000 to 87,500 from 1 in 125,000. G5
