I'm confused.... I won a free raffle ticket today when I bought my lottery tickets. Apparently there has been a Raffle promotion going on through the month of October but I didn't learn of it until today. If you buy at least $10 on a jackpot game, you can win a free raffle ticket for an upcoming drawing and you could win $500 with it. FF5 does not qualify for the free raffle ticket promotion but JPT does. I bought $10 of JPT today, but I didn't win my free raffle ticket with those five tick

Not that anybody cares, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on playing PowerBall. I don't play the game very often because the odds are ridiculous. I'd rather play a lottery game that players actually have a decent shot at winning. All lottery games carry very long odds so I prefer to get some bang for my lottery playing buck. I have never lived in a state where a RNG is used to select lottery numbers. I lived in New York State close enough to The New York - Pennsylvania border that I did drive over to PA and buy many Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle tickets which uses an RNG. Although I'm not generally in favor of RNG's, I was willing to play The Millionaire Raffle because the odds were so low to win a million bucks (125,000 to 1) that I looked past the fact that an RNG is used to select the winning raffle tic

Thank you for your suggestions. I have not won a lot lately until I won the 50/50 raffle at church for $185.00 so maybe my luck is improving. I have $80 to spend on my numbers. I am waiting a while until the time is right.

Last night's FF5 drawing produced three winners of 72.4 thousand which equals a total jackpot of $217K. First time I've seen a Friday night FF5 jackpot of that size in quite a while. Lately they've been less than $200K, and Saturday nights have been running just a bit lower than 200K. G5 -It looks like a few more peeps bought some tickets putting the prize at over $200,000 last night. I was short on cash so I did not play. I have some cash now and I will be playing soon.
