The odds to win Powerball are forget it. The odds to win Mega Millions, is just as bad. How come we haven't had a winner when the odds are a lot better for the SLP? Even Powerball Mega have winners long before 7 months. What's going on?

True, MM has odds of 1:14.7 or 6.7% chance of winning a dollar back for every dollar spent and PB has odds of 1:24.8 or 8% chance of winning a dollar back for every dollar spent but while many local games have better odds of winning their top prizes have worst odds of winning a dollar for every dollar spent. Lottery players has to decide how much damage their wallets can take.

I found some info on The PA Lottery's website with regard to the number of tickets sold for the first and second Early Bird drawings. For the first drawing they sold 42,322 tickets which made the odds of winning $50,000 42,322 to 1. For the second Early Bird drawing they sold 39,513 tickets which made the odds 39,513 to1. Not too bad odds to win 50 grand. G5
