Powerball as you have never seen it
To: ChiefHoly Cow Chief,You are from Virginia, the ONLY state where the lotto WAS hit by a group covering almost all the numbers and you say my idea smells like, what is that anyhow? They ran out of time to get all the play slips bet between draws. They had a bunch of people from accounting firms placing bets. They used dot matrix printers to fill out play slips, thats why they say, must be filled out by hand.And..Best Regards to you!Mike

Yes, Virginia
Quote: Originally posted by CASH Only on December 28, 2004 Lotto VA was already a 6/49 when it became 6/49 Lotto South.FYI, it started as a 6/44 (i think). It lasted from 1989 until about 2000/2001. Then it went to 6/49 (and added 'Virginia' to it's name). Then just a year later, in an unprecedented move, they made their in-state lotto game a multi-state lotto game.

Yes, Virginia
VA administers the Lotto South game. Lotto South is basically the same as Lotto Virginia (if you remember it), they just changed the name when they let GA KY sell it too.

PA 'Unlucky for Life'
i tihnk PA is better off with hot lotto. i used to take the hour-long drive to west virginia to play hot lotto. at $1/ticket, and a guarenteed annuity jackpot of $1 million, or around $500,000 cash, it's better for PA's players. the odds may be harder, but i think it would do better than lucky for life lotto.

Finally....A winner in Michigan
Since the Big Game changed to Mega Millions, we have had several $175,000 dollar winner's, but, I don't beleive we have never had a Jackpot winner, not even once. Jackpot winner's seem to always come from Virginia or downsouth, in a little deserted town no one has heard of! I was beginning to think, Michigan is bad, no one wins anything. After the Jackpot win of last night, I think, now, my city just is bad! lol.

VA winner/60-day rule
Back when I first created that page on BigGameLottery.com, I researched each state, and that's what I found. I have been unable to find the VA materials that I used, but I'll do my best. Too bad Virginia doesn't have a better Web site. They give some information, but it's way to fluffy - doesn't provide enough hard facts.
