Mega Millions: How long to recieve jackpot?
Hi Racso, Welcome to Lotterypost! I like how phrased it - Fate, Luck and Chance all have to smile at the same time...how true. You can take the ticket directly to headquarters to have it validated, no need to stop at the local store. You've got a bunch of questions, I'm sure that we'll have some more answers for you in no time!

Lucky For Life
I might go $100.00 the last draw. Although LFL has already robbed me enough. I am sure after all the money they make the last draw they will wish they kept the game. I won't even play mix and match unless it is at least $1.5 million due to taxes. So it looks like I won't be playing it much, and even less than LFL. Looks like another failure by lottery headquarters. They always exclaim this is what the people want etc, yet for some reason I, part of the people; never get a vote.

One $220M Powerball winner in Missouri
I am very happy that somebody finally won. But you can bet besides Just6ntic there's some sad faces at Powerball headquarters this morning becase winneres are bad for the game. A winner means no rollover. No rollover means no record. And no record means no bonuses for Powerball execs. Bummer! Jim

Mega Millions getting boring
Quote: Originally posted by CASH Only on May 18, 2003 Konane: MM is run jointly by the 10 states that offer the game, so, the Georgia lottery director is hardly to blame. The NY Lottery had much more to do with the change from Big Game to MM, since NY (and Ohio) were added when MM began. NY's large population base was the biggest factor in the longer odds of MM vs Big Game. Fully understand that. Big Game was BEGUN and drawn in Illinois, then the headquarters of it transferred later to GA under

Winners checks are sent via certified mail, or winners may make arrangements to pick checks up at Lottery headquarters or area offices. There are some states that will mail the checks directly to the winner's bank. Does Pennsylvania have this option?

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
I'm only saying what KYfloyd and John said but a little differently. The odds are listed as 1 in 175,711,536. If you buy 2 tickets, the odds are 2 in 175,711,536. But the odds are always listed as 1 in something. So what would 2 in 175,711,536 be in terms of 1 in ???. Its the same as 1 in 87,855,768. If someone buys $87,855,768 worth of tickets while making sure they are all different combinations, their odds are 87,855,768 in 175,711,536. But what is that in terms of 1 in ???. Its 1 in
