$2B Powerball winner Edwin Castro bought $4M mansion for parents while brother manages his wealth
??? The irony, as I was one. If you can read and have average IQ in youth, you can become one. Order of the Arrow, blah blah blah. Been there. Done that. Not a big deal at all. The BSA program is primarily indoctrination to blindly follow orders, salute, and wear a uniform, like in the military. It misleads youth into thinking disastrous, hierarchical, coercive central control structures are a good way to organize society. Obedience to crappy States is what they teach. The BSA progra

Pa. spends $1.3M to date on search for lottery partner amid fierce competition for $1B contract
The hunt for a company to service the Pennsylvania Lottery's games and gaming system for the next decade has proven to be a contentious and costly venture. Two companies are vying for 10-year lottery servicing contracts that would pay close to $1 billion or more over the life of the deal (the contracts could be extended for two to four years). It's one of the commonwealth's most lucrative long-term contracts. The firms have engaged in a heated battle over the past year and a half as this i

Lottery Ethics
Hi Raven. I kind of like you. I sent you a PM, but your box is full. Nevertheless! Words are important. Morality of gambling. Seems like a paradox. Ethics of gambling. More paradoxicallity. The other day, I bought a lottery ticket... I failed. I bought a RNG. But the alternative was non RNG. I suffer from Quandary.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
That's ridiculous if the game hasn't been orderable, the warehouse should have 0. They shouldn't have some (essentially) hidden supply that they can send out at their whim if stores can't order it. It's misleading to the stores and public in general. Seriously, with this and them destroying tickets, without accounting for them in inventory reports, I wonder if anyone at FL Lotto knows what ethics are. Also, how is HM sold out to the point where they have nothing to ship, but HG still has 700

North Carolina: 3/1 - 3/31/2016
I went back and looked at WRAL's channel 5 video of the drawing several times and you are right that on the second pick 3 drawing the first two balls, the 8 and the 0, were already selected by the time the camera moved over to the second machine to show it. But you could see the third ball, the 1, actually in the act of being drawn up into the chute. I guess what happened is that the camera just panned over to the right a little late or a little behind the action of the machines. It would be nic

Court rules grandmother, 90, will receive $1.85 instead of $41M jackpot
The manufacturer of the game, had previously issued a bulletin that the game might show an erroneous bonus, with a recommendation to the casino's to disable the bonus option. I call that advance warning, they knew and did nothing. They such have disable the bonus option immediately on notification before offering it for uses for the public. Instead of putting people the casino's through all the drama. So this means lady justice is truly blind not just blindfold. Nothing in this article even sugg

How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
Flalotteryscam, A couple of slow re-reads of your post highlighted your concern about that particular scratch game in your state. My favorite guru here, The Most Honorable RJoh, has a point also. Investigations cost money, unless of course, a newspaper has a vested interest in scooping this story. Your observations and concerns might be better directed to your State Attorney General, just saying! We play hard earn money in these games, with a hope of a return on our financial outp

Can MM & PB Start Being Honest? Must this farce continue?
It was clearly a personal attack. Only if you believe breaking the law by leaving the scene of an horrible accident makes sense. But people who don't like seeing an inflated annuitized amount is arguing from an ethical perspective. Nobody cares if you disagree with MUSL's ethics in advertising the jackpot amount. Neither PB or MM tickets are sold in Toronto so you probably don't know state lotteries all across the U.S. advertise the huge jackpots in the form of highest possible win.
