So when are you opening up your sports betting boiler room operation? Tout both teams to win and the house always wins. I had a friend who did that years ago, making over 100 grand a year until he gave it up one day. The reason he stopped was according to him, he got tired of hearing all the wives over the phone in the background pleading to their husbands to stop throwing away their money. My wife is my good luck charm. She picked 418 last night, and as you all know, 481 won. Now I am $40 richer! I spent my last $2.50 on that ticket, so I am glad that we won. She correctly picked the winner of the Super Bowl 14 years straight, and I can vouch for 9 of those years (and she does not pay ANY attention to football!). I'm fully aware of this scam. My ex-pizza boss with a side job....boiler room operation..... did this with sports betting. He made tons of money with this until he got caught....lol...I saw the room for myself. I was just hoping this wasn't one of them.

Incidents like the one being described in Texas in this thread are the reason when a state gets a lottery they should srtaff the commission with lottery people, not good ole boys who have connections and no experience. The Delaware short-lived legalized sports betting in the 1980s comes to mind. They actually had office people making up pintspreads instead of seeing what the real ones were. Word got out that they had false favorites in games and people from Vegas flew to Delaware and clobbere
