Looks like this came down to personal integrity ....The winning ticket COULD have been his personal choice...but that little part about, He told his boss he wouldn't be returning to work because he needed foot surgery, which he never received, and denied winning the jackpot. He also filed for unemployment benefits after claiming the prize. kind of sets the stage in my humble opinion. A smart sneaky man would have kept his mouth shut, had a close friend/relative make the claim and moved to Costa

I know about 10 people who use that place in Costa Rica and they told me they've had no problems whatsoever. Maybe you shouldn't have said something that would piss them off. Just like you don't send food back to the chef, because there's a chance something undesirable will be added when it comes back.

The only way that would work is to either stop playing for that week once you hit a straight..(If you ever hit a straight), or play online. Even though I have a couple of friends who do play online without problems, I still have reservations about sending money to Costa Rica....lol

I was in the far south state of Costa Rica,............. one night they said lets go up the mountain and get some chicharrones and some beers, I said yeowsah! we're there! We get there and we had chicharrones! Chicharrones are deep fried pork rinds (skin) in coconut oil,..... let me tell ya sumptin they was good but lawdy not good for ya.

I would want to visit Dubai, Bali, Thailand, Philippines, all over Africa, the UK, all over the Caribbean islands, Brazil, Belize, Peru, Costa Rica; any place that isn't tropical would only be visited during warm weather months as I hate cold weather...yes, this winter is really getting on my last nerve...but I am glad to have all my nerves telling me that it is friggin' cold...just hoping I can get lucky so that I can have the option to spoil my senses a bit!

I agree. That's why I never took the chance. I've opened accounts online in the past, but only with US Banks and also ones that were covered by FDIC and I knew were recommended.
