It's likely that Alabama will eventually have a lottery too.

Alabama man wins $150,000 a year for life in Florida Lottery
These gas stations at the Florida Alabama line are always packed with Alabama residents. There is one store right after you cross over Alabama and Florida at Cottonwood, where they actually have tables set up inside and people do lottery workouts in notebooks. If I had more time, I would sit there over the course of a week and interview people to find out their tricks and ways to play the lottery. That is a fun store. Congratulations to Mr. Thomas!

Nearly 68 million US adults plan to wager on Super Bowl
I don't do sports wagering. Glad that somehow this passed last May in Kentucky. Remember a year ago November the TV news interviewed me on my thoughts of the subject. Said it is stupid folks traveling to other states to wager; they're going to do that. Somehow resonates with Alabama not getting a lottery! Looked @ the machine Saturday and months earlier some guy was trying to explain it to me. Guess I'm just dense, it looks like a foreign language to me. Watched a superbowl show from the

Texas Lottery Executive Director Gary Grief announces retirement
I admire him sticking it out as long as he did. Remember some politicians wanted to get rid of the lottery altogether! They draw pick 3 or Pick 4 four times/day except for Sundays. Are there Indian tribes in Texas? If so, they could open their own casinos like they have in other states where casinos aren't necessarily legal...Alabama for one...and still no lottery there!

Mississippi Lottery passes $2 billion in gross sales
Played their lottery in Biloxi finally. Noticed they just added Double play to Powerball. A letter was mailed to them to compliment on them getting a lottery because they did not rush into it and memory says they thoroughly researched other lotteries before starting. Mentioned before, I think about WDRB interviewing me a year ago November regarding sports betting in Kentucky. I don't do that but mentioned folks will just go to neighboring states to bet. It did not pass, then suddenly it went
