I with that statement, but for folks who believe buying 1 ticket is the same as buying 1000 tickets. That is false! It is not especially with odds like that! I remember an article about a high jackpot by a state lottery and an out-of-country company bought up all the possible combinations, they printed the betting slips, and sent agents who lived in various cities in that state to play in bulk. One of the machines broke down at the location of one of the agents, so he could not play a large batc

Powerball Powerplay 10X
Don't look here at The Lottery Post if you see an article about someone winning 5 times with one ticket! I aint sayin' nuthin to nobody should it actually happen and that includes posting here about it! I'm located in Florida, so I might be able to invoke Florida Statute 24.1051 which allows players of prizes of $250,000 or more to claim anonymously for 90 days. Thanks for you well wishes.... good luck to you too. G5

A verbal Lottery joke agreement wouldn't hold up in Court, would it?
So, there was an article about what NOT to do if you win the Lottery or will win the Lottery. One of the tips was something like, Never joke, about giving someone a cut of your winnings if you win the Lottery because they could sue you for your winnings if you do. For example, never jokingly, say to your to your Friend, Tom, if I ever win The Powerball 1.5 Billion Jackpot, I'll give you $20 Million, but I'm sure I'll never win it, it's a 1 in a 1.5 Billion chance. Tom and you both laugh, but if

No More Self Pick Play Slips Accepted
At this point based on the poll, about 1 / 3rd have seen this. Interesting that sales were down this last draw, too. The recent Lottery Post article says the sales were a miss. $900 MILLION: Powerball jackpot rises, but sales miss in last draw makes for small increase

Powerball Powerplay 10X
In a way it shows that the PB jackpot amounts get to over 150M pretty fast, thanks to the additional Monday drawing. When I see an article about someone winning the PB five times on one draw, I know where to look . I always add the Powerplay on PB knowing very well that it maxes out at 2M for the second tier. I add the megaplier on MM more willingly knowing the second tier amount could be 5M . I wish you luck and hope that one day you score a hit, 10M would be a good amount to wi

LOTTO NEWS
Yup...that's them. That article appeared The WAPO in 2006 and it also found it's way here to The Lottery Post. Although I was a fan of Lotto News and its sister publication Lotto Stats, I found that I had the same stats/info at my finger tips on my PC with the copy of the commercially available lottery software I had bought. For many New York players that didn't have software, Lotto Stats provided them a hardcopy of stats they couldn't find elsewhere, and I think that's the biggest reason wh
