Dishonest clerks stealing money from the store owner and customers have been around since the first owner hired one. And when the stores began selling lottery tickets, it gave more dishonest clerks new ways to steal money from the customers. I've had a few dishonest clerks. but I've more luck with more honest clerks. Sometimes I win more than I thought, I've bought tickets and almost walk out without my change and they stop me. Overall people are more honest than dishonest.

what do you do
about dishonest clerks? I bought some lotto tickets the other night and in florida they were having a promotion if you hear the jingle you could win a ticket or instant cash or a voucher. Arizona lottery terminals used to play a jingle We're in the money when clerks scanned a winning ticket for you. This prevented the type of fraud that occurred in Kentucky. Sadly, the terminals were reprogrammed and no longer play the jingle, thus enabling thievery by dishonest clerks.

Well I posted this for lottery players in PA but after reading the posts from other players in other states ... this could be a common problem with lottery terminals everywhere ... maybe not exactly like what happen to me but there does seem to be problems ... both with machines and dishonest clerks.

Do any of you buy your tickets online?
Considering all the stories we see about dishonest clerks, it's not a good idea buying tickets online from any source but an official state lottery. Trying to claim your jackpot winnings might turn into a nightmare.
