I dunno if anybody posting in this thread is located in a state where the state lottery allows players to do this, but for what it's worth.... (I do know that New York and Florida allow it for PowerBall, but I've never done it for MegaMillions. If they do it for PB I cant see any reason why they would not allow it for MM) Some states allow players to do a partial-QP . There's a slight trick to it though, and that's that you must mark the QP box on your play/betslip too in addition to picking
