If you are Illegal and play lottery shouldn't they learn the rules on collection
I'm more pissed off at people who HIRE them for cheap labor instead of hiring a tax paying citizen who actually needs a job. The last of my concerns is whether an illegal alien is going to win something with huge odds as the lottery. I'm more concerned with illegal aliens and crime or illegal aliens and cheap labor. BTW a lot of bad English in this thread. Just an observation.

Should illegal immigrants be able to claim lottery prizes?
I'm unclear, is there a law in place, right now, that prohibits illegal aliens from either playing or cashing lottery tickets in the US?

Should illegal immigrants be able to claim lottery prizes?
I am playing Devil's Advocate here. How would you stop an illegal Alien from buying a lottery ticket in the first place ?? The Tickets do not say that you have to be a US Citizen to play the lottery, do they???. If an Illegal Alien is allowed to spend his/her money that he/she earned in the US (probably by working in the US), then why shouldn't he/she be allowed to spend his/her hard earned US money how he/she wants to (those Aliens do work their buts off hard for the US Economy - some of th

California again? (Powerball)
I'm not sure how much 'bounce' they have, but they do have easily the largest population of any U.S. state. Officially they have around 38 million residents, but that doesn't include the millions of illegal aliens that don't show up on population counts/estimates. Nobody knows exactly how many people in CA play the lottery, but it's safe to say they have the largest pool of players in the country by a healthy margin, so it's not terribly surprising they have a significant number of jackpot winne

I study Economics to a degree - I don't really think it would be economically beneficial, for the most part. The cheap labor that some of them provide does allow for a lot more production in America, the problems with our economy are monetary and debt related. Obviously plenty of economists would disagree with me, but I think the problem is too much government involvement stiffling economic growth, along with no strong backing of our currency. Given a currency backed by commodities being
