Texas Legislature proposes bill to block online lottery courier services
I would assume that if the legislation were to pass and get signed into law that every lottery company, including TheLotter, would be prohibited from doing business in the state. Hopefully that does not happen, for Texans sake.

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
If I'm going to criticize the additional midday drawing, then I should offer what I think would be an improvement to the game.
Before I do that, I have one more criticism that I'd like to share. Ticket sales of FF5 are not what they once were (prior to adding the midday draw) so adding the midday was The Florida Lottery's response to try to attract more player interest in the game. I agree that ticket sales are down, I can remember jackpots in 2020 and 2021 being in the $230,000 to $235,000

Online credit card purchases to be banned for Australian gamblers, except for the lottery
Lotteries present a low risk to gambling harm.
By Kate Northrop
Australians may soon not have the ability to use credit cards for online betting, except for lottery purchases.
A new legislation is being proposed by the Australian federal government that would prevent gamblers from placing online bets using a credit card unless they are for the lottery.
The new law, expected to be introduced by the government within months, calls back to a parliamentary inquiry from 2021 that rec

PATR IOTS, AND ALL INTERESTED IN OUR AMERICAN HISTORY
Nota Bene:
On this day in 1931, President Herbert Hoover signed into law legislation making The Star-Spangled Banner the nation s official national anthem.
Francis Scott Key (1779-1843) composed the poem that became The Star-Spangled Banner on Sept. 14, 1814, after witnessing the massive overnight British bombardment of Fort McHenry in Baltimore harbor, a key assault during the War of 1812. Key, a lawyer, watched the siege while being detained aboard ship by British sailors. He pe

800 million dollars
Correct you are. The rich are legally sheltering their money. The Federal government wrote the tax code and wealthy people's tax attorneys are simply telling them how to legally exploit the tax code to their advantage.
Ever heard of The Carried Interest Loophole ? It's a terrific method for wealthy people employed in the Private Equity industry to cut their tax burden in half, and best of all it's perfectly legal. But carry as the PE Boy's all call it isn't available to the average tax payin

VIDEO: $2 billion Powerball winner buys another multi-million dollar California property
California too needs to revamp its laws, as many states have already done, and allow winners to claim anonymously/trust.
Bet there are lots of laws in your state law codes that are not in other states and vise versa. Just saying.
Have you tried contacting the California Legislation?

800 million dollars
One more thing and then I'm done....
An investor with 800 million dollars could invest with a Private Equity Firm. Generally PE Firms accept only Institutional Investers as Limited Partners, but they will accept money from an individual invester that is High Networth Individual. You'd have to prove to them you really do have more than 30 million in the bank (you'd have to show them bank statements so they could vet you) but if they did accept your money you would benefit from something calle

VIDEO: Is a Nevada Lottery in the cards?
New lottery bill has progressed farther than any other bill of its type in the state
By Kate Northrop
A bill proposing a Nevada lottery has passed the Assembly vote, making it the farthest a lottery bill has ever progressed in the state.
What would normally be a throwaway story about a lottery bill inevitably being shut down in a casino-ridden state has now turned heads when it passed a vote for the first time in Nevada history.
Earlier this month, the Nevada Assembly passed a bi

Court finds that skill games are legal in Pennsylvania
State casinos and lottery to co-exist with skill game machines
By Kate Northrop
The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court found that unregulated skill games are legal in Pennsylvania, much to the disappointment of online and retail casinos.
Unregulated skill games are now considered legal in Pennsylvania after a court order from the Commonwealth Court clarified their stance on whether skill games are considered games of chance or skill.
The legality of skill games, as well as what exac
