Winner of $95 million Lotto Texas lottery jackpot gamed the odds to win
Hmmm.... Then, why can't the folks running Lottery Post, do something similar? Have a lottery pool feature on this site, that you can join once you're logged into the Lottery post website, and a public hidden background profile area just for the pool? Why not? TheLotter is not available to residents of the United States. Please consider this Todd, since you run this wonderful site.

California Lottery announces group as winners of historic $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot
Playing in a pool is the best way to play the lottery. Helps overcome the odds and everyone in the pool walks away a multi millionaire.

Three Calgary friends claim $50M lottery prize after 17 years playing together
Don't know about all that. I ran a pool at my job for 10 years. Had about 9 or 10 participants, including the store manager. They would come up to me, hand me money for the week. I would buy the tix on the way home. Take a picture with my phone and text it to people in the pool.

$1.55 BILLION: Biggest Mega Millions jackpot ever to be drawn Tuesday
Just the jackpot is a great option for playing in a pool.
No, it's not!
Let's say there are 20 people in your pool and you get the five white balls which would normally be worth $1,000,000 (or $2 mil or more if multiplier is purchased) your pool gets ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, $0.
So now, in stead of everyone in the pool getting $50,000 (or $100,000 or more with Megaplier) you don't get anything.
Sorry, but Just the Jackpot is not a great option at all.

Mega Millions and Powerball offer $1.11 billion in combined lottery jackpots
Love the big jackpot. I am playing in a lottery pool.
The pool greatly increases my chances of winning and the amount won is reasonable and yet still a life changing amount.
Once the Mega Millions jackpot is won, the pool will start playing Powerball.
Good luck everyone!

$1.55 BILLION: Biggest Mega Millions jackpot ever to be drawn Tuesday
Just the jackpot is a great option for playing in a pool.
I am currently in a pool in California. I wish I could join a pool in a state with just the jackpot option and no state tax.
I like that California has no state tax. Makes a big difference when the jackpot is being split many ways.
