Changing my strategy from the last several raffles. This year I will buy all my tickets in the last two weeks. I know it is random, but the big winners usually come later in the raffle rather than earlier. In years past I would try to spread out my tickets, but I wanted to try something different this time. Anyone who buys, please update this thread with approx. numbers. I know this counters the early bird raffle. Just like the last several raffles, this one probably wont sell out.

Ohio Lottery 50/50 Raffle Draws Ending tonight
The Ohio Lottery is ending it's 50/50 Weekly Raffle Drawing tonight. It did not last long. Started around October 2016. Sort of sorry to see it go. Must be because of low sales? Well, any ways I tried it for the last draw. The last drawing will be at 10 p.m. Saturday 2-11-2017. Good Luck to all that played the Last Draw!

I just found this thread, not sure why I didnt see it sooner. What a great sales pitch to have the early bird drawing, seems to be working well for the PA lottery. I noticed they passed on the Halloween raffle this year due to poor sales from the prior quarterly raffles. Results for the last early bird raffle will be posted today. Based on early sales, they should sell out. I suspect a spike in sales now as tickets will be used as stocking stuffers and then an increase early next week as people

I think they should increase the prize money for NY lotto second prize amount should be higher. I don't know why NY does not have a raffle I would love one, so for New Years I am getting my raffle ticket from PA thanks G5 for the tip I didn't know.

Next Sunday, July 6th, the summertime SuperDraw raffle for 1 million dollars will be held. My wife bought a ticket yesterday and I was surprised by how low the number was. It was in the 169,000 range. To me that says it was the 69,000th ticket sold out of a possible 275,000. On the CT Lottery's website, they say the first ticket sold will be 100001 and the last would be 375000. If that's correct, then my ticket is the 69,000th ticket printed.
