Ticket sales for Powerball and Mega Millions were slowing prior to the pandemic. The pandemic gave them an excuse to lower the starting amount to $20 mill. And, they no longer have to guarantee a minimum bump between draws. Prior to the pandemic it was $5 mill for Mega, and $10 mill for Powerball. Now that they've made the change, they aren't able to change it back unless all states that participate in the MUSL also agree to the change.

Maybe after sales calculation it will be number two. But honestly i think it will roll. Not enough sale through is happening. According to the estimate from TX there is only a 40% coverage. It could still hit, you never know.

Been stop playing with her, I play BAS thats why she losing sales from what i heard cause you have the other website that you can play all states and not sit and let her play you while other states are dropping good numbers. I hit more in other states than here.

No the cash option is based on actual ticket sales, and the annuity is affected by interest rates. However, it is my understanding that after the previous drawing, the interest rates fluctuating would not affect the next jackpot, because the rate is locked in at that point.
