California family's fight over $51 million lottery jackpot is over
Of course he paid full tax as you put it because there is no way to avoid not paying tax- he could not pull a Wesley Snipes.Fact of the matter is it was not HIS MONEY to begin with. She won , not him, she went into the convenient store to purchase the ticket, not him.Just because she was shaking uncontrollably to sign the ticket does not mean ownership is transferred over to the Son.Sure his name is on the placard on the table why?- because he signed it. But theft is theft, a so called white lie ...

Former SC lottery employee accused of embezzling more than $200,000
Just in the last two days over $104 million was wagered on MM and PB so it would be difficult to notice a few thousand missing. With 43 states selling tickets each with thousands of retailers, I'll the total amount swindled each year is probably staggering. And that's not counting the money some of the players are cheated out of. Working in lottery finance allowed McNeil to be creative and steal more, but I'll bet there are many store clerks who combined make McNeil's theft a drop in the buck ...

$216 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot rolls again

If you have lost a lotto ticket is it advised to contact the lotto you were playing and be able to provide them with information such as where and what time you bought the ticket from and what your chosen numbers were (and often useful if you know what else you bought at the same time). ...

Cash vs annuity, another factor to consider?
You might be miserable too if you didn't still live in mommy's basement, mediumbratwurst. The rest of us actually have bills to pay believe it or not. Ok now, back to your Gears of War or Grand Theft Auto or whatever you're playing today.

What would you do if someone won the PB or MM Jackpot in Maddog's Challenges?
Good one Ridge! How about prescription windshields for drivers that don't want to wear glasses or contacts? A side benefit to this would be it would really cut down on auto theft! As for someone actually winning here on LP I'd congratulate them, wish them good luck, and then wish them even more good luck in dealing with the onslught of PMs they would get.
