Pretty sure over the years I have read stories about this...both shows winning number yet isn't a winner and doesn't show as a winner yet scans as a winner. Most times lottery will just claim it's a misprint and not pay.......maybe others remember specific stories.

I didn't say that a trust can't be formed after the drawing. I said a trust that's formed after the drawing can't be the winner. The drawing creates a winner, so an entity that doesn't exist yet can't possibly win. If you win and then form a trust to claim the prize you're still the winner, and the trust is claiming the prize on your behalf. Was anyone surprised last night that the winner (s) usually featured on the powerball draw was a guy that collected his prize many months ago instead of a recent winner? unscratched tickets
i have a question for my lottery freinds,lately i have been finding unscratched lottery tickets left in the stores nothing scratched off but one letter somewhere, so my question is can you tell if it is a winner or a none winner by just looking at these letters? i myself pick them up and take them home and scratch them and take my time because i have heard stories of people leaveing wining scratchoffs in the store thinking it was a looser being in a hurry give me your thoughts on this thank you.
