Powerball and Megamillions in their current forms are boring and take too long to win! Who says you cant still have powerball and megamillions tickets for $2 but change them both to be better games and still have the billion dollar raffles? In case anyone hasn't noticed we have yet another top 25 jackpot on the Mega millions which is a common thing these days with longer and longer rolls and fewer jackpots being awarded. You're right it is sweet... Ct has been running the SuperDraw raffle twice per year since 2011. They hold one of the drawings on The 4th of July, and the other is held on New Years Day. Tickets are sold in April, May and June for the July 4th drawing, and in October, November and December for the New Years day drawing. They're on sale for the 1/1/2014 drawing now. For last July's drawing, tickets did NOT sell out. I believe the number sold was 262,000 which lowered the odds to 262,000 to 1

Last month was Pick Games. I don't play those. This month is the jackpot games. I play jackpot games and scratchers predominantly. i have a raffle ticket from a set of Powerball numbers i purchased. Florida lottery use money from unclaimed prizes to pay out these promotions.

Didnt win a dime, neither did my co worker. Looks like all the million dollar winners were sold from Black Friday to dec 26. If I waited a few more minutes to buy one of my tickets, I would have had a million. 93 tickets off from the million. I dont think the lotto will bring back the 4th of july raffle.
