I Have No Problem Paying Federal Taxes If I Win The Jackpot.
http://www.ahherald.com/bishop/2003/gb031016_fed_income_tax.htm Good article. IS THE FEDERAL INCOME TAX ILLEGAL ? Is the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution illegal? Yes, according to We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education. You can reach the Foundation at this website: WWW.GIVEMELIBERTY.ORG. The nonprofit Foundation has been trying unsuccessfully for years to get answers from the President of the United States, the Speaker of the House of Representativ

Fortune Cookie Powerball nonsense
The winning numbers for that draw were 22-28-32-33-39 + 42The fortune cookie numbers were 22-28-32-33-39-40. (I'd be willing to bet that other lotteries around the country have been getting a lot of action on those numbers too.)The people who won the jackpot did so on a QP which had nothing to do with the fortune cookies. That's probably why they were the sole jackpot winners. Before Wednesday, the most tickets to win second-tier Powerball prizes in one drawing was 91, on August 25, 2001. I don

Megamillions and Powerball Games
Bobby623, I voted Powerball, just for the heck of it! Thanks for your vote. I voted MM with Megaplier because I find the return on my $ spent is highest with that bet if I never hit a higher tiered prize, which is most likely. Jimmy is no doubt a member of some hard-line anti-gambling church, sect, or whatever, that requires believers to go out into the public and save those gambers from going to hell. He has presented a powerful argument against lottery gambling. I do

Oregon Lottery Payouts on Jackpot Games
Oregon doesn't even have the cash value amounts of PB or MM listed anywhere I can only assume that the 50% figure on the OR website is the result of stupidity or extreme carelessness. NY hasn't listed cash values for years, either. The only reason I can think of is that they'd prefer players to think they're actually playing for the advertised amount instead of the lower cash value because everyone knows that bigger jackpots sell more tickets. That any particular lottery tries to take advan

Winning the Mega Millions... hmmm...
Where do people come up with this stuff? Are you surprised? Neither of us is smart enough to think up something so stupid that there isn't somebody out there who will believe it. A waiver. Sure. Let me commit fraud and sign a confession before I'm even accused.

Hoosier Lotto
Haha you think out of the 1.5 million tickets (roughly 250k free plays were rewarded and the odds are about 1 in 7 to win a free play ticket, which equals 1.75 mil but we will say 1.5 million since there were so many low numbers) . about 350k of them are duplicated combinations ?? With that logic when these state lottos are hit there would be a lot more multiple winners in state lotteries. Listen this is probably a huge coincidence but the chances of this lotto having rolled 100 times is mind

Delawarean Looses Powerball Lawsuit
I don't agree with the policies of some states that allow ticketless claims (excluding subscriptions of course). It is basically inviting fraud. I think it should be a no-brainer that you must keep the ticket in order to claim the prize. Delaware, and several other states, pass out ticket holders (I have seen them in also in New York, Connecticut, Virginia, and West Virginia). I have one and keep everything in there. To be honest, this claims sounds like a guy who accidently drops money on th

MegaMillions and Quick Pick
floridian writes: What I gather from these posts by both of you is that the Lottery (HQTRS) in whatever state you are in receives the picks from the downstream terminals at your friendly convenience store and takes that infor and sweeps the picked numbers to determine what is the best set of numbers to allow to be picked by the next draw. Is that what I am reading from you guys? Floridian, you might be reading that in this thread but not from my posts. When you buy QPs, you get combination

A MAJOR gripe about Powerball!!
Hi folks,I've been lurking for quite some time now, but decided to join this evening (and thank you, Todd, for setting up this site).OK, now on to my little rant that I've have with Powerball! As you probably know by now, there was a winner in last Saturday's draw, but the powers-to-be had decided NOT to inform the players about it untill AFTER tonight's drawing!!! WTF is up with that? Is the MUSL actually withholding winning info in order to increase the pot a little higher? This is not the only
