Post your scratch ticket results
Uh oh, I think I was a victim of lottery fraud. I tried to cash my $500 today and it came up as already paid. It hasn't left my house since I got it, so I think posting the picture here or at Facebook would be the culprit. Unless it is a real error. I will never post open barcodes again on big wins. I should be able to get my $500 since I have the original and it would have been cashed by fraud.

Letter sent to 360 elected officials and investigatory agencies regarding fraud within NYS Lottery
This, an other shady practices, is an issue endemic to all state lotteries. While I salute your effort rgse90, I doubt much will come of it. Lotteries, like all other multi-billion-dollar businesses, are very good at wriggling their way out of corruption. Allow me a moment to don my pretend Lottery-Rep cap and provide a fictional, if likely, response: Dear [Senator], The primary initiative of the [insert your favorite state] Lottery is Integrity. While we understand the issue you'

In the section about contacting them (about fraud) it asks to please do so ASAP ... it helps them (most likely on schedules/clerk on duty etc.)

Can lottery organizations control the location of jackpot winning tickets?
What about a general location as opposed to a specific store? That would prevent fraud.

Lost scratch off ticket did they know whether it is a winner or not
What you could claim as fraud is if they're aware of some top and 2nd prizes being destroyed, but then advertise in the top prizes report that they are still available. As a side note, the CA Lottery advertised that 100,000 Riches still has 26 top prizes available. But the game ends on middle October 2011. I doubt that they are going to print all those 26 top prizes before the game expired. But by not doing so, by not printing the remaining tickets with 26 top prizes, they are committing a fr
