individual states raffle lotteries
Hi,LP members, Is anyone buying raffle tickets for their state lottery? I forked out $10 bucks today for a chance at SC's millionaire drawing Jan.8th.My ticket number was 00169532 so they gotta alot more to sell to have the bank! Good luck folks!

It's gonna be interesting to see if Cash4Life takes off or not. I mean, will it underperform like they said Sweet Million did? I'll be watching to see what happens with the new game. True, the prize pool is 55% compared to SM's 38%, but then tickets are 2 bucks a line too. Right now, it's New Jersey and New York participating in C4L, with other states to be added . Well, maybe that's true and maybe it's not. You cant tell me that other states aren't gong to wait and see happens with ticket

Just to add to your comment about JPT's true odds... When I lived in New York, I was located close to The New York Pennsylvania border and I'd go over to PA and buy raffle tickets. In The Fall, PA holds their millionaire raffle which they say carries odds of 125,000 to 1. On paper, that's correct. They sell a maximum of 500,000 raffle tickets and select 4 winners of one million dollars. But I always had trouble with how they advertised the odds. (I bought the tickets anyway because it's stil

No Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle Yet?Reply
Too early? I dunno about that.... For at least the last five years, tickets went on sale in April for a July raffle. Given it's almost May and there's nothing on The PA Lottery's website regarding a raffle, that makes me think there might not be a raffle this summer. Hope I'm wrong about that. G5

No Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle Yet?
Anybody know if there's going to be a July Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle? There's nothing on the PA Lottery's website about it. I'm in New York so I don't know if there are any signs etc in retailers. Thanks. G5
