NY Scratch-off Discussion
This iz my 1st time posting on this message board forum (didn't realize I was registered for over two years now? Wow...). After re-finding this site from a Google search (lol, typed in New York $30 scratch-off in tha search bar when I was originally finding info out on Pennsylvania and if they're gonna go back to selling $25 scratch-offs again), this topic of how you do on your New York scratch-offs really caught my attention to be on this message board frequently. Starting tomorrow, I'm

Post your scratch ticket results
In Pennsylvania, more people are purchasing lottery tickets than ever, as Lottery officials announced that sales for the year were $3.2 billion, up $142.2 million from last fiscal year and $118.7 million higher than the previous all-time record set in four years ago. . Thats alot of money. I wonder what the payouts were and where all the money goes. Iowa had 270 million. Thats a HUGE difference. Seems PA is getting greedy and pocketing more money with lesser returns . Iowa returned $160 mil

I have given up. Last weekend I decided to take my winnings and stop at 5 different places for tickets. Walked away with $20 out of $125 spent. I saw the post on the new tickets and went to the place next to my job and they do not have them. They said probably not til next week. I have put my fair share in and hit $500 back in 1997. Havent won anything over $100 since. I think I need to walk away for awhile and play other state run games :) Pennsylvania just seems cold. You mention about releasi

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Hi, CarHauler - I have good and bad news. Good news is that I made up for the last couple days by winning $100 on Winner Green - 2 matches of $50. Number was #25. First $100 I have won on the game. I got three of the new 2nd edition Bingos - #4-6 - and #4 won $5. The rest I think lost. I say think because that brings me to the bad news.. Pennsylvania got rid of scratch off codes starting with 2nd edition Bingo! This leaves more room for clerk-related fraud and missing winners. I know I hav

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Fed up - absolutely fed up - with the Pennsylvania Lottery again. 5 losers in a row on Bonus Block Bingo (#20-24.) The $10 games still lose or give cheap prizes. If Money Money Money has any $100s, I haven't seen any since the start of the game with that $200 exception. I went a little over my usual today and everything lost except for $4 on $2 tickets. I have a hard time taking breaks because it's a hobby, but I'm taking one soon. It's just disappointment after disappointment again.

Virginia Lottery Scratch Offs appear to be huge scam
Pennsylvania is very streaky. I got a couple Big Winner Spectacular ($10) wins today, but many more losers. And other times I get 3, 4 winners in a row. Some of these losers were in spots I thought would win (#54, #55.) I think sometimes they put in more rolls with bunched winners, and most people get in the 5, 6 losers in a row. But 1 out of 22 tickets in VA won? I would complain about that if they were in a row. That's beyond the usual shenanigans.

Best Scratch Off State
What is your favorite state to buy scratch-offs? I'll put my money (no pun intended :-p) with New York. Large variety and large prizes compared to bordering states. I have not one any of the larger prizes, but I have had luck winning some medium sized prizes. Pennsylvania also has a good variety for the value of the dollar. In the states I've been to, I have to give the thumbs down to Delaware. The top prizes are few and most prizes are break-evens. The $20 ticket they sell has been on sale f

Best scratch game?

One neat feature on the web site, is they post how many winners are left! It's not real time but updated about once every week, and I guess its better than nothing. The big unknown, is how many total tickets are left. I do feel it does give you a slight edge. As a example, which would you rather play? The one dollar game Roost
