Take5 NY
Hello from sunny (not to mention HOT ) Florida!
Thanks for your kind words. It's kind of funny, but today for the first time since I don't know when, I decided to take a look in the Take5 forum and see whats new. Little did I expect to see what I had written way back in the day.
I'm a native New Yorker from The Hudson Valley, but these days I'm living on Florida's west coast after having moved here in November of 2020. I cut my teeth on Take5, but now I'm hooked on Florida's Fantasy5. It

The reality is that, out of any number between 00000-99999 could show up in the next draw. It would be cheating if they pull out some number that is outside this.
penta, quads, triplets, doubles have different odds but positionally, any number/ball(-0-9) has same odds.
There is no surprise if a game pulls
00000, 00001, 00002
or
61110,61112, 61113
rare but possible. Calling cheating is just mistake.
You have to just go by the flow and catch short term patterns/tr

Consideriing the Lottery Payout vs the Odds puts you at least at a 50% disadvantage to start. Call it the Pay Out Defecit .
It also determines the number of Parts that you need to predict in order to make $$.
One can Catalog every draw with 2 or more variables. The goal is Reduce the Inventory to the Point that you can include at least 3 out of 5 (in a 5 number Draw game) and make a minimum profit. The Payout defecit requires you to Reduce the Odds inventory by at least half. In CA the

N.J. Lottery retailer says $221M Powerball winner is bus driver who spends $60 a day on tickets
My sentiments exactly. Especially if they have a self service lotto machine, he'd never know how much he/she spends daily.
I find $420/week spent on the lottery is suspect, but I will spend that in one few hour outing @ the casino. Keep telling myself just once spend several hundred on the lotto but never do. The odds suck either way but lately it has been slightly better with the one armed bandit.

is the lottery rigged?
Someone who believes the lottery draws are rigged, then goes out and buys a ticket is quite stupid.
It would depend on how it's rigged. Eddie Tipton had friends and relatives who knew it was rigged, and it turned out fairly well for most of them. Other than the prizes being split, everybody still had exactly the same odds of picking the winning combinations.
