Why Would Anyone In Their Right Mind Choose Annuity instead of Cash Payout for Powerball?Reply
I read (somewhere over the past couple of days) that if you receive the 29-year annuity, that the winner could will that to his/her estate, and at the winner's death, the beneficiary (or beneficiaries) can elect to continue to reach an annual payment or get a payout. Of course, if there were two or more, they would have to agree on one choice/decision. That could be interesting -- or a big mess. Not a lawyer--don't know any...but I read it on the Internet -- so you know it has to be true. LOL

Looking at the past NY Mega Millions Winners and I noticed something...Reply
its better to pick the annual payments.....only because when you claim your prize you can change your mind....and take the lump sum...not the other way around...im pretty sure...on the death issue....i dont know if it applies to every state or every lottery game.. but if some one dies the rest of the money goes to whoever's name is on the ticket or signed to the winning tickets....on lottery change my life a old man won and put his sons name and someone else on the ticket...the old man passed aw

CA SLP Challenge 6/17Reply
Everyone, welcome to my CA SLP Challenge. The challenge has returned because the jackpot is at least 48 million or more! Good luck to the people entering my challenge (sudden death). There is about 12 hours left before the draw. We need some participation from others. Players need to choose up to 15 WBs out of 47 and up to 5 MBs out of 27. If nobody else enters my challenge, the challenge will be out of play for this draw, but the challenge may continue if CA SLP continues to roll.
