Tennessee couple claims share of $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot
LOL, how about confirming the ticket with the lottery office by phone, then using the ethics lacking attorney go to the conference in their place? He can get all the publicity he seeks AND deal with people contacting him for donations. When the frenzy dies down, fire him. He will still have to be dealing with the people wanting money and will not be on the winners payroll any longer.

Former Georgia Lottery official files whistleblower lawsuit
A former top finance official with the Georgia Lottery has filed a whistleblower lawsuit claiming that he was fired after refusing to present inflated sales projections. Kenneth Knight, former vice president for financial management at the Georgia Lottery, names the lottery and its president, Debbie Alford, in the lawsuit. Knight argues that he was pressured by Alford and his boss to present the lottery board with flawed sales projections in April 2014. Knight says in the lawsuit that he t

Retired Games
Twice this month I got duped and bought a ticket for a retired game. Different retailers. I thought that the lottery rep would make sure a retailer wasn't selling retired games but I guess it is up to the retailer's own sense of ethics. I don't really follow prize reports etc but I think I will be getting at least familiar with the list now.

Do any systems actually work?
If a player is willing to bet enough anyone can cover all the numbers. Who was talking about covering all the possible combinations? $15 covers all the MM numbers and the bonus numbers too, but it's much easier to ask for $20 worth of QPs. It's lining the winning ones up in the same group that's the stinger. You can't line up numbers you don't have and the odds against purchasing 15 MM QPs with all 75 numbers and all 15 bonus numbers is probably too high to calculate. You don't n

Does anybody work (or know anybody working) for a Lottery ...
I am assuming this free stuff is also available and being being provided to the general public. If it is not, that is a possible ethics violation for the lottery.

Who' s to say...
I think that even if you never pool with anybody and lay low after winning, you still run the risk of someone you know claiming you had an agreement with them and demanding their share. That's just the way some people are - brazen, without ethics, and greedy. They take their chances, hoping for some judge to believe their story. And it seems that lottery winners are treated like people who don't deserve their money.

Welfare lottery ban
I can see your point. However, in this case, someone that has worked for 30 years obviously has good work ethics, and probably would not be on welfare for very long. Aside from the original thought that welfare money should not be used for lotteries in the first place, it seems only fair that they (or anybody) should be willing to pay back the government welfare money that they were loaned ... which in the case of a person like this, probably wouldn't even be that much.

How many hours do you put into picking your numbers?
Wow! That's like a full time job. Are your regular wins justifying all that time? Admire your work ethics.

Florida woman accused of running personal lottery
Thank goodness the neighbor notified the Sheriff's Office of the alleged scam, saving herself and others money and embarrassment. These are hard times, but even so, the lack of morals and ethics should not be thrown out the window like yesterday's dishwater. I think her bail was set too low, $5,000 -- how about $500,000 or more to alert prospective scamers that this type of crime is serious and it will not be tolerated!

Forgot to give a gift ticket and it won now what?
The ticket doesn't become a gift until it's given. That's mostly a BS rationalization. Sometimes people may buy a bunch of things and later decide who gets which gift, but usually when you buy a gift it's that person's gift as soon as you buy it, and certainly as of the date that it's due . Have you ever referred to something you bought as my wife's anniversary present, my nephew's birthday present or something similar before giving it to them? That would indicate your true feelings about t
