A life of leisure doesn't cut it for lottery winner
Congratulations to these women. They obviously want to pass along good work ethics and morals to their children. Regarding a robbery, I don't understand why this salon would be more of a target than any other business. What about a jewelry store? It's not as if they'll be displaying the jackpot money in the window. In any case, I'm sure they'll be covered by insurance.

Watch out for "vultures"
I trust you wrote your comment tongue-in-cheek. In case you're not kidding, if you go to a casino and play a slot machine for 4 hours and then walk away, there is no rule of ethics that says the next person can't win on the first try. That's why it's called gambling.

Should one play if they have others feeding them
I'm sure lazy fat slob spat at a student from a teacher who feels the student shouldn't be on welfare and receiving food stamps and should be made to pay back every cent if they ever won the lottery violates the code of ethics for teachers. Do you really think her principal would respect her opinions. I think not.

Letting Someone Else Claim My Powerball Winnings
It's completely legal to have somebody else cash the ticket for you. What's illegal is not following the rules on reporting income when you are collecting disability. Your plan just makes you one of the people who is defrauding the government, and the taxpayers who have been kind enough to help you out.Being poor and desparate won't make your ethics any better and won't make you any less of a thief and a liar.

POLL: 'Moral' obligation for a jackpot winner
I'm not sure. Many people love their job, and they get great satisfaction out if it. It would have to be an individual decision, and I don't think it has anything to do with morality or ethics. If you want to keep your job, then keep it. If you want to retire, then retire. At this stage of my life, I would retire, however, I am self-employed.

N.C. Lottery conviction sends message about disclosure
More indictments may be forthcoming Voluntary public servants beware: Withholding information about your past could get you in serious trouble. Changes in North Carolina ethics laws will make it harder for appointed members of boards and commissions to hide potential conflicts of interests, and the new law stiffens penalties when disclosures are incomplete. But the five felony fraud convictions given by a federal jury Thursday to a former state lottery commissioner who lied about his p

Don’t turn the voting process into a lottery
Personally I think if they are going to have a voting lottery it should be a lottery winner as the winner of the election. Canadates would have to pass a minimum IQ, ethics and criminal background check. I couldn't imagine we would get worse canadates then what some districts crank out each year.

Woman 'hiding lottery win from husband'
They would say whatever it took to get you to buy their product. Ethics and integrity would not be an issue. They are superior people, they have to be respected.
