Ah, good to know Reggie! I was studious enough to check out your past posts in advance of my prior post...You're a good student, glad to see you busy posting.
That'll get you out of New Member status, among other things...and at least still in the frying pan. Anything that I post is worth my time..I really don't care how it's taken, usually it's taken wrong so I don't worry about it too much. Anyone wrapping up with what they should have started with....*not taking your criticism personally*...is doing just that. Good luck Reggie, ask some questions but geez louise...keep the butter, as in 'up'....out of it and keep the thinking cap on. Tone down on the sensitivity and win some money. Maybe you can catch a piece of the 100/110 action that's been getting around lately. Go get 'em tiger!
I can't help being so hot. Like 310...it always gets action! I try not to keep my thinking cap on because it can get you into trouble.

I would rather not have new members dissect their flagged messages on the public forums. Your message was flagged because you were sent a link, and you replied to it. This is exactly what I said would happen here. I am dumbfounded by the constant act of surprise when this happens. The link was at the bottom of the message. Apparently Harve$t Moon copied and pasted an image from Google's image cache, and the image contained a link around it. You then replied to it and got flagged. How about saying how great the system is at catching links, and how wonderful it is to be on a forum that values the ability to interact with each other without wading hip-deep in endless spam, like all the other lottery sites out there? That would be nice to hear for a switch. From one Todd to another, I agree wholeheartedly. How about saying how great the system is at catching links, and how wonderful it is to be on a forum that values the ability to interact with each other without wading hip-deep in endless spam, like all the other lottery sites out there? Can anyone suggest numbers for me to play tonight. Tomorrow I'll be 67 and broke.

Can anyone suggest numbers for me to play tonight. Tomorrow I'll be 67 and broke. I am very happy to hear you agree! For the second part of your message (about looking for numbers), that would be "off-topic" in this thread, and the people who you WANT to see your request will not be looking for it here. Best to post a request like that in the forum that is most suitable (for example, the Pick 3 forum). In fact, I would strongly recommend checking out the many hundreds/thousands of number posts over there for today before even asking. You may be able to ask more pointed questions that way, and find some solid numbers to play. Finally, don't forget that hundreds of people post their numbers on the Predictions Board every day. (Click Predictions in the blue menu bar.) That would be the very first place I'd go for raw numbers to play, because they can be quickly separated, Deflated (into combination groups), filtered, and Inspected. People who are serious about testing and tracking their numbers every day post their numbers on the Predictions Board.

Oh, now I see the error. I copied and pasted a picture of a pretty flower at the end of my message to Reggie Numbers! I would not have guess that little flower would cause all this commotion. This is enlightening! I would have NEVER realized that fact without this discussion. @Todd, I respectfully disagree with you. I think that people learn from this type of discussion. I just did. By fixing basic rules problems out in the open with full notice to everyone, people become aware and then KNOW the rules. This eliminates much unnecessay confusion and guessing. When people keep stuff to themselves, it keeps others from benefiting from that experience. We are not airing dirty laundry with these discussions. We all want a friendly safe place to exchange ideas. Your filters and triggers keep out potential problem makers ... that is a well designed and oiled system. In my humble opinion, it is too good! It makes it little difficult for the new or average computer user, who may be used to communicating in the internet in a casual way to negotiate the LP newbie period. People with different language skills (foreign or american) can be really challenged, regardless as to how many times you explain it. The WARNINGS are startling and not very warm and fuzzy. When one is new in the neighborhood, they must learn to find their way around. When they read informative discussions about how this forum is run, then everyone benefits. You, Todd, are then spared having to talk about this over and over again... ad nauseum. We can just send people to the topics that fully explain the situations in question. Yes, I like this forum. I don't have another gambling related forum to compare it with, though. This is the only one that I visited or joined. I'm learning to use the tools that come with my premium membership. I think that the lottery officials, who may be members, must truly enjoy using your amazing lottery tools, also. I suspect that the lottery commissions don't provide systems with your sophistication in programming and problem solving to their lottery personnel. Anyway, this was meant to be a short and quick reply. Todd, from the Internet reviews, your forum is the best of its kind! I will repeat that I think open discussions on the basic rules is alkalizing, healthy and productive. It saves time and keeps the stress levels of everyone concerned ... neutral. Respectfully, Harve$t Moon
Don't click on this flower, if you are a new member. Just enjoy looking at it. Don't copy and paste anything from the internet in any of your posts, until the system promotes you by putting a blue dot / cube under your name / avator. God Bless! Let's go win that money! Thank you so much for posting this info, Harve$t Moon. Now I don't feel so bad. I read Todd's first post thoroughly. However, I should have scrolled down to read Todd's second post. Because, I mistakenly had the idea that since I had signed up for Platinum, that that qualified me to be able to send or receive emails and websites. My up most apologies to Todd and Staff, and anyone else that I might have caused problems. I too received a warning from Todd, about my boo-boo. Since that incident, I've read the whole thread, taking all the suggestions, including going to: Help - for FAQ - for Membership Features. I strongly suggest to anyone having any doubt about their status, (as I DID) check it out for yourself. Thanks again Harve$t Moon, and again my sincere apologies to Todd and Saff. HATS OFF to you for working so hard , looking out for us folks. Especially for greenhorns like myself. Have a Good One everybody, and Take Care. Let me put it this way....You and I have just as good a chance of winning 'The Big One'...as the next Guy !!

Actually, I'm guessing you are the same person who used to go by the name Just6ntlc, before I was forced to suspend your account because you kept disrupting the forums by doing this kind of thing.

So Todd, let me understand this: you do not want people to send or post an e-mail address in the 'proper' format, but it is ok to send one in a format such as 'guesser AT gmail DOT com' or something like that?

Any objections to listing a phone number on a post? I still like to chat the old fashioned way: On the phone!

Lately there have been a rash of new members trying to send e-mail addresses and links, both on the forums and through private messaging. As a reminder, please don't do that. The system will automatically suspend your account if you do. Also, members who have been here for a while, don't ask new members to send their e-mail address to you. As soon as they comply with your request, they are going to get suspended. If you are so trusting of a new member that you want to privately communicate to them, then you send them YOUR address. Finally, new members: if someone sends you a message containing a link or an e-mail address through the private message system, do not reply directly to that message. That's because the system will naturally include a copy of their private message in your reply, and therefore your reply will contain the link or e-mail address that they sent you -- and you will get suspended by the system as soon as you send it. In this case, either send a NEW message (not reply) to the person, or else make sure you delete all the old text from the reply before you type your reply and send it. Why is all this important? The reason Lottery Post has been around for 10 years now is because we have no-spam policies like this, and the technology to back it up. In fact, the no-link and no-e-mail policies for new members are for YOUR protection, and they have practically eliminated spam from our site. You wouldn't believe the number of spammers that are automatically detected and silently eliminated by the system every single day. This stringent system simply means that as a new member you need to be careful with anything you post or send, that it does not contain any link or e-mail address. Importantly, don't think you can hide a link by putting "dot com" in it, or a bunch of spaces or something. Anyone who can get away with doing that can already post links because they have been promoted. As a new member, if YOU try it, you will get suspended. Hey Todd - Thanks for this thread. You'd think after being on this forum for a while, I'd know all the rules and regs! I was recently approached by a new member asking for information. Had I not read this thread, I may have at least tried to provide the info, and both our accounts would have been gone!! Instead I directed the new member to read throught this thread for an explanation why I couldn't give the info requested. Maybe I should go back and reread the rest of the rules now!!!
