The tide is turning for America, foreign operatives fronting for global banking interests have been discovered and exposed in high positions of the federal and many State governments. These operatives have been involved in sedition and treason for many years, but only recently has the American public been made aware of this information.

The time has come to answer the question: do we have a government of men or a government of laws?

The Constitution for the United States of America is the highest law of the land, the Supreme law from which is derived all other law. For years and most extremely since 2001, the Supreme law of the land has been egregiously disregarded by rank and file members of the Federal House of Representatives and Senate, high ranking members of the Judiciary, the Presidents of the Government of the United States and a long list of State government “officials”, legislators, members of the judiciary and governors. These sworn up-holders of the Constitution have with impunity been guilty of wantonly violating the Supreme law of the land and their sworn oaths.

I believe the time is right now to call for arrests and resignations of a laundry list of traitors in the federal and State governments.  The time has come for a Nuremberg style trial on charges of sedition and treason for those actively supporting or calling for the end of the Constitution, the violation of the Second Amendment, the Fourth Amendment,  the Ninth and Tenth Amendments and others.

The list is long and it can begin with the resignation of Barack Obama and his staff, followed by the resignation of Eric Holder and his staff. Next any Senators and House members supporting restrictions and sanctions against citizens legally, under the Supreme law of the land, choosing to keep and bear arms in America, must be relieved of their duties and tried for treason.

After cleaning house in the federal government, investigations leading to arrests must be made in many States including New York, Maryland, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, Hawaii and several others.

Governors and legislators, signing and supporting restrictions and sanctions against those choosing to keep and bear arms, should be tried on charges of treason for knowingly advocating and actively attempting to over throw the Constitution (the Supreme law of the land) with acts violating the Second Amendment and others incorporate in State law and violations of oaths.

Authorizing and signing legislation and regulation Infringing the Second Amendment is an important criteria for grounds on charges of treason – because the Second Amendment is the fundamental physical restraint built into the Bill of Rights ensuring law abiding Americans have recourse to force – if, and when, foreign usurpers attempt to an overthrow of the governments of America. Attempting to restrict, curtain, or eliminate the application of the Second Amendment is clearly a means by which to provide Aid and Comfort to foreign usurpers. Supporting, legislation and regulation infringing the Second Amendment to the Constitution for the United States of America is a violation of Oath and an act of Treason.

There are also private groups and organizations seditiously supporting the overthrow of our Organic Constitutional government of the united States of America. Organizations hiding behind Orwellian mission statements, ostensibly serving the so-called public interest: fighting racial hatred and social injustice. However, these organizations only appear to champion the impoverished and disenfranchised; they are, in fact, using these people as cover for a larger agenda of collectivism, while actively seeking to replace the constitutional republics of the American States with systems of authoritarian controls.  These organizations are very well funded and have high level connections with members of State and Federal governments, they should be investigated, exposed and disbanded.

I think it is now time for all of us to speak to our remaining Constitution abiding government representatives, our Sheriffs and State and County level prosecuting attorneys and demand traitors be arrested and brought to trial.

The occupation and deconstruction of the American system of government and traditional way of life must end NOW.

The spokeswoman, Caitlin Hayden, said the president joined a meeting between the Saudi official and Obama’s national security adviser, Tom Donilon.

“I believe that restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners will not prevent a deranged individual or criminal from obtaining and misusing firearms to commit violence,” she said in a statement. “While steps must be taken to improve the existing background check system, I will not support the Manchin-Toomey legislation, which I believe would place unnecessary burdens on law-abiding gun owners and allow for potential overreach by the federal government into private gun sales.”

Ayotte’s opposition leaves the amendment short of the required 60 votes for passage, unless a senator reverses their position prior to the vote on the floor at 4pm ET today

Cruz Cites Supreme Court Blocks Of Federal Power Grab

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz said Thursday that the Obama administration “knows virtually no bounds” in its push to continue to expand the role of federal government.

From interfering with a church’s selection of its own ministers to attaching GPS’s to vehicles without having any cause, Cruz’s report gives six examples in which the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously rejected the Obama administration’s attempts to increase the power of the federal government.

Cruz, 47, has made a habit of making national headlines in his first four months in office and has gained the reputation as a stubborn, yet steadfast, Republican voice in the Democrat-controlled senate.

Democrats have characterized his style to McCarthyism. He voted against the Hurricane Sandy relief bill and has vigorously challenged the nomination of Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense.

Below are the six examples noted in the Cruz report in which the U.S. Supreme Court denied attempts by the Obama administration to expand federal government power.

• Attach GPSs to a citizen’s vehicle to monitor his movements, without having any cause to believe that a person has committed a crime (United States v. Jones); • Deprive landowners of the right to challenge potential government fines as high as $75,000 per day and take away their ability have a hearing to challenge those fines (Sackett v. EPA); • Interfere with a church’s selection of its own ministers. (Hosanna-Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church & School v. EEOC); • Override state law whenever the President desires. (Arizona v. United States); • Dramatically extend statutes of limitations to impose penalties for acts committed decades ago. (Gabelli v. SEC); and • Destroy private property without paying just compensation. (Arkansas Fish & Game Commission v. United States).

Cruz spoke about his outspoken role in the senate at an Austin Chamber of Commerce luncheon last week.

“Washington is a curious place,” Cruz said, “They are very, very surprised when you go there and actually do what you said you were going to do.”

A Tea Party favorite, Cruz’s attacks on the role of federal government are lock and step with the conservative principles he’s touted on the campaign trail.

Cruz said he was willing to work with the Obama administration on plans to reduce government spending and budget deficits and reform the federal tax code.

We Forget: The Strength Of The Nation Is In Our Hands– Don’t Let The Fascists Convince You That They Are Invulnerable

Remember this weekend marks four months since America was weakened by massacre. 

Remember members of Congress confess, with a mouse click online petitions are discarded as weak, but like the strength of butterfly wings, “one person face-to-face in their office, is one thousand votes.’

Remember more than pleasing NRA or congressional leadership, or dictates from Wall Street dictators; more than what constituents think best; doing what’s right for the country, or preserving, protecting and defending the equality and justice of all Americans, the number one agenda of any member of Congress, regardless of Party is:  to get re-elected.

Remember, to save other mothers and fathers from the sin of slaughter, Newtown parents bear the cross of their children’s death to a Hill faraway, so all see in their post Sandy Hook faces, the reflection of a corrupted Constitutional interpretation for blood and guts profit.

Remember our “Free Will” frees us to define “Land of the Free” as freedom to look the other way while in neighborhood streets, movie theatres, parking lots and schools, Americans of all ages are gun downed with military style super-sized multi-magazine assault weapons, or find the courage to go to “The Hill’ for a face-to-face that reminds Congress the civilized response to Cain is, the Second Amendment is not a license to kill.

Every parent, teacher or friend of someone whose life ended violently, deserves the freedom to be angry and left alone to grieve, or to carpool to State capitals and Congress and make leaders look into our national mirror at the reflection of their impotency in the face of corporate profit, immorality, greed, lies and violence. 

We are not born courageous, brave or without fear, but life sometimes thrusts crushing challenges on us to rise or fall before.  There is little fearlessness, only “feeling the fear and doing it anyway,” like “Mayors against illegal guns” and Connecticut’s “massacre control.” 

While “Mission Accomplished” profanes our national acclaim as “The Home of the Brave,” when we accept our national emergency as no more economic than it is educational and moral, solutions will reveal themselves. 

For this we need not be brave by choice, but open to being courageous out of necessity, for then the seemingly powerless become the mirrors in which the powerful see their Dorian Gray reflections. MOREHERE

DHS Advising Local PD’s of General Economic Collapse by the end of April.

The source for this was an officer at the briefing. The police department was located in the Midwest and the city has a population of around 300,000.

DHS advised select PD brass that they were expecting a total economic collapse as early as the end of April. They suggested departments stock up on supplies, including that individual officers keep supplies of non-perishable foods should the need arise.

The officer also mentioned that a firearms confiscation protocol would be used and BATFE would assist via dissemination of ATF form 3310.4 data as well other info gathered from gun show surveillance.

The officer was previously clueless to any of this and is basically just your typical PD bureaucrat. He was surprised that these instructions were being issued.

I, however, am not surprised. Even a cursory look at U.S. and world economic data, as well as the fact that a chunk of the world's billionaires are dumpimg blue chip stocks such as P&G, tells me we are toast economically. Looks like DHS is finally getting ready for SHTF day in earnest.

On the same day President Barack Obama kicked off his week of gun control campaigning in Connecticut, in hopes of passing new gun laws affecting American citizens, Obama on Monday approved the providing of arms to Somalia in order for the African nation's government to more effectively fight Al-Shabaab terrorist, according to reports.

The White House announced that theCommander in Chief signed a presidential determination allowing for "the furnishing of defense articles and defense services" to Somalia, saying the move will "strengthen the security of the United States and promote world peace."

"This administration is intent on incrementally disarming Americans while at the same funneling arms that regularly find their way into the hands of terrorists and insurgents eager to kill Americans overseas," notes former police training officer Kelly Laughlin.

"There are reports that strongly suggest the arms given to Libyan rebels in their fight against a dictator are now being found in the hands of rebels in Syria, many of whom are members of Islamic terrorist organizations," said Laughlin.

Secretary of State John Kerry is being given the responsibility of deciding what weapons and equipment will be offered for use by the Somali security forces.

With the help of military resources, including troops, from the African Union, the Somali military officials claim they drove the al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Shabaab out of Somalia's major cities in recent months, and in January the Obama White House officially recognized the new government led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the first permanent central government in the nation since the start of the Somali civil war in 1991.

However, according to U.S. intelligence analysts, Al-Shabaab terrorists stormed the southern town of Hudur following the withdrawal of Ethiopian and Somali government troops. In addition, Al-Shabaab terrorists have entered other African nations in the region and perpetrated terrorist acts including suicide bombings, grenade attacks and cop-killings.

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution last month lifting the arms embargo on Somalia put in place since 1992, in an effort to strengthen forces against the Al-Shabaab fighters. The resolution doesn't include large-scale weapons like surface-to-air missiles, heavy artillery, and landmines.

Critics of the arming of Somali forces point to the current problems occurring in Libya where weapons caches are being sold to other nations and paramilitary groups.

For example, according to a Fox News Channel report, "the weapons that helped Libyan rebels oust dictator Muammar Qaddafi are turning up for sale at clandestine auctions in Egypt’s lawless Sinai Desert, where shadowy buyers purchase firearms for Al Qaeda and Hamas operatives."

The Tunnel People That Live Under The Streets Of America

             Did you know that there are thousands upon thousands of homeless people that are living underground beneath the streets of major U.S. cities?  It is happening in Las Vegas, it is happening in New York City and it is even happening in Kansas City.  As the economy crumbles, poverty in the United States is absolutely exploding and so is homelessness.  In addition to the thousands of "tunnel people" living under the streets of America, there are also thousands that are living in tent cities, there are tens of thousands that are living in their vehicles and there are more than a million public school children that do not have a home to go back to at night.  The federal government tells us that the recession "is over" and that "things are getting better", and yet poverty and homelessness in this country continue to rise with no end in sight.  So what in the world are things going to look like when the next economic crisis hits?

When I heard that there were homeless people living in a network of underground tunnels beneath the streets of Kansas City, I was absolutely stunned.  I have relatives that live in that area.  I never thought of Kansas City as one of the more troubled cities in the United States.

But according to the Daily Mail, police recently discovered a network of tunnels under the city that people had been living in...

Below the streets of Kansas City, there are deep underground tunnels where a group of vagrant homeless people lived in camps.

These so-called homeless camps have now been uncovered by the Kansas City Police, who then evicted the residents because of the unsafe environment.

Authorities said these people were living in squalor, with piles of garbage and dirty diapers left around wooded areas.

The saddest part is the fact that authorities found dirty diapers in the areas near these tunnels.  That must mean that babies were being raised in that kind of an environment.

Unfortunately, this kind of thing is happening all over the nation.  In recent years, the tunnel people of Las Vegas have received quite a bit of publicity all over the world.  It has been estimated that more than 1,000 people live in the massive network of flood tunnels under the city...

Deep beneath Vegas’s glittering lights lies a sinister labyrinth inhabited by poisonous spiders and a man nicknamed The Troll who wields an iron bar.

But astonishingly, the 200 miles of flood tunnels are also home to 1,000 people who eke out a living in the strip’s dark underbelly.

Some, like Steven and his girlfriend Kathryn, have furnished their home with considerable care - their 400sq ft 'bungalow' boasts a double bed, a wardrobe and even a bookshelf.

Could you imagine living like that?  Sadly, for an increasing number of Americans a "normal lifestyle" is no longer an option.  Either they have to go to the homeless shelters or they have to try to eke out an existence on their own any way that they can.

In New York City, authorities are constantly trying to root out the people that live in the tunnels under the city and yet they never seem to be able to find them all.  The following is from a New York Post article about the "Mole People" that live underneath New York City...

The homeless people who live down here are called Mole People. They do not, as many believe, exist in a separate, organized underground society. It's more of a solitary existence and loose-knit community of secretive, hard-luck individuals.

The New York Post followed one homeless man known as "John Travolta" on a tour through the underground world.  What they discovered was a world that is very much different from what most New Yorkers experience...

In the tunnels, their world is one of malt liquor, tight spaces, schizophrenic neighbors, hunger and spells of heat and cold. Travolta and the others eat fairly well, living on a regimented schedule of restaurant leftovers, dumped each night at different times around the neighborhood above his foreboding home.

Even as the Dow hits record high after record high, poverty in New York City continues to rise at a very frightening pace.  Incredibly, the number of homeless people sleeping in the homeless shelters of New York City has increased by a whopping 19 percent over the past year.

In many of our major cities, the homeless shelters are already at maximum capacity and are absolutely packed night after night.  Large numbers of homeless people are often left to fend for themselves.

That is one reason why we have seen the rise of so many tent cities.

Yes, the tent cities are still there, they just aren't getting as much attention these days because they do not fit in with the "economic recovery" narrative that the mainstream media is currently pushing.

In fact, many of the tent cities are larger than ever.  For example, you can check out a Reuters video about a growing tent city in New Jersey that was posted on YouTube at the end of March right here.  A lot of these tent cities have now become permanent fixtures, and unfortunately they will probably become much larger when the next major economic crisis strikes.

But perhaps the saddest part of all of this is the massive number of children that are suffering night after night.

For the first time ever, more than a million public school children in the United States are homeless.  That number has risen by 57 percent since the 2006-2007 school year.

So if things are really "getting better", then why in the world do we have more than a million public school children without homes?

These days a lot of families that have lost their homes have ended up living in their vehicles.  The following is an excerpt from a 60 Minutes interview with one family that is living in their truck...

This is the home of the Metzger family. Arielle,15. Her brother Austin, 13. Their mother died when they were very young. Their dad, Tom, is a carpenter. And, he's been looking for work ever since Florida's construction industry collapsed. When foreclosure took their house, he bought the truck on Craigslist with his last thousand dollars. Tom's a little camera shy - thought we ought to talk to the kids - and it didn't take long to see why.

Pelley: How long have you been living in this truck?

Arielle Metzger: About five months.

Pelley: What's that like?

Arielle Metzger: It's an adventure.

Austin Metzger: That's how we see it.

Pelley: When kids at school ask you where you live, what do you tell 'em?

Austin Metzger: When they see the truck they ask me if I live in it, and when I hesitate they kinda realize. And they say they won't tell anybody.

Arielle Metzger: Yeah it's not really that much an embarrassment. I mean, it's only life. You do what you need to do, right?

But after watching a news report or reading something on the Internet about these people we rapidly forget about them because they are not a part of "our world".

Another place where a lot of poor people end up is in prison.  In a previous article, I detailed how the prison population in the United States has been booming in recent years.  If you can believe it, the United States now has approximately 25 percent of the entire global prison population even though it only has about 5 percent of the total global population.

And these days it is not just violent criminals that get thrown into prison.  If you lose your job and get behind on your bills, you could be thrown into prison as well.  The following is from a recent CBS News article...

Roughly a third of U.S. states today jail people for not paying off their debts, from court-related fines and fees to credit card and car loans, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. Such practices contravene a 1983 United States Supreme Court ruling that they violate the Constitutions's Equal Protection Clause.

Some states apply "poverty penalties," such as late fees, payment plan fees and interest, when people are unable to pay all their debts at once. Alabama charges a 30 percent collection fee, for instance, while Florida allows private debt collectors to add a 40 percent surcharge on the original debt. Some Florida counties also use so-called collection courts, where debtors can be jailed but have no right to a public defender. In North Carolina, people are charged for using a public defender, so poor defendants who can't afford such costs may be forced to forgo legal counsel.

The high rates of unemployment and government fiscal shortfalls that followed the housing crash have increased the use of debtors' prisons, as states look for ways to replenish their coffers. Said Chettiar, "It's like drawing blood from a stone. States are trying to increase their revenue on the backs of the poor."

If you are poor, the United States can be an incredibly cold and cruel place.  Mercy and compassion are in very short supply.

The middle class continues to shrink and poverty continues to grow with each passing year.  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, approximately one out of every six Americans is now living in poverty.  And if you throw in those that are considered to be "near poverty", that number becomes much larger.  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 146 million Americans are either "poor" or "low income".

But even as poverty grows, it seems like the hearts of those that still do have money are getting colder.  Just check out what happened recently at a grocery store that was in the process of closing down in Augusta, Georgia...

Residents filled the parking lot with bags and baskets hoping to get some of the baby food, canned goods, noodles and other non-perishables. But a local church never came to pick up the food, as the storeowner prior to the eviction said they had arranged. By the time the people showed up for the food, what was left inside the premises—as with any eviction—came into the ownership of the property holder, SunTrust Bank.

The bank ordered the food to be loaded into dumpsters and hauled to a landfill instead of distributed. The people that gathered had to be restrained by police as they saw perfectly good food destroyed. Local Sheriff Richard Roundtree told the news “a potential for a riot was extremely high.”

Can you imagine watching that happen?

But of course handouts and charity are only temporary solutions.  What the poor in this country really need are jobs, and unfortunately there has not been a jobs recovery in the United States since the recession ended.

In fact, the employment crisis looks like it is starting to take another turn for the worse.  The number of layoffs in the month of March was 30 percent higher than the same time a year ago.

Meanwhile, small businesses are indicating that hiring is about to slow down significantly.  According to a recent survey by the National Federation of Independent Businesses, small businesses in the United States are extremely pessimistic right now.  The following is what Goldman Sachs had to say about this survey...

Components of the survey were consistent with the decline in headline optimism, as the net percent of respondents planning to hire fell to 0% (from +4%), those expecting higher sales fell to -4% (from +1%), and those reporting that it is a good time to expand ticked down to +4% (from +5%). The net percent of respondents expecting the economy to improve was unchanged at -28%, a very depressed level. However, on the positive side, +25% of respondents plan increased capital spending [ZH: With Alcoa CapEx spending at a 2 year low]. Small business owners continue to place poor sales, taxes, and red tape at the top of their list of business problems, as they have for the past several years.

So why aren't our politicians doing anything to fix this?

For example, why in the world don't they stop millions of our jobs from being sent out of the country?

Well, the truth is that they don't think we have a problem.  In fact, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson recently said that U.S. trade deficits "don't matter".

He apparently does not seem alarmed that more than 56,000 manufacturing facilities have been shut down in the United States since 2001.

And since the last election, the White House has seemed to have gone into permanent party mode.

On Tuesday, another extravagant party will be held at the White House.  It is being called "In Performance at the White House: Memphis Soul", and it is going to include some of the biggest names in the music industry...

As the White House has previously announced, Justin Timberlake (who will be making his White House debut), Al Green, Ben Harper, Queen Latifah, Cyndi Lauper, Joshua Ledet, Sam Moore, Charlie Musselwhite, Mavis Staples, and others will be performing at the exclusive event.

And so who will be paying for all of this?

You and I will be.  Even as the Obamas cry about all of the other "spending cuts" that are happening, they continue to blow millions of taxpayer dollars on wildly extravagant parties and vacations.

Overall, U.S. taxpayers will spend well over a billion dollars on the Obamas this year.

I wonder what the tunnel people that live under the streets of America think about that.

Report: “Intelligence Says There Will Be An Attack on American Soil”

Tensions on the Korean Peninsula are heating up, with rhetoric from the North Koreans suggesting that an attack of some kind is being planned. This isn’t the first time the North Koreans have made threats against western powers and their southern neighbor, but the level of American response is unprecedented. The United States and our allies have re-positioned Naval battle groups, deployed Aegis missile defense systems, and a host of other technology to counter-act any potential threat.

Military analysts have already warned about the possibility of North Korea exploding a high altitude nuclear device high above the continental United States using a “Super EMP” weapon capable of disabling the power grid in the lower 48 states. The North Korean space launch vehicle, a ‘weather’ satellite put into space in December of 2012 and carrying an unknown payload, will be passing over the geographic heart of the United States on April 10th. Curiously, the 10th is the same day that North Korean officials warned they would no longer be able to provide protection for foreign embassy officials in Pyongyang.

Moreover, the North Koreans are said to have mobilized some of their long-range missiles, and communications intercepted by Western intelligence agencies reportedly indicate that a planned launch of their KN-08 intercontinental ballistic missile is imminent.

The situation has become so serious that the Japanese military was given the order to shoot down any missile launched from the North, no matter if it is a test.

Reports that China has mobilized tens of thousands of troops on their border with North Korea and has put their military on its highest alert level also don’t bode well for peaceful resolution. The Chinese seem to be positioning their military to either counter North Korea’s military, turn back refugees who  may attempt to escape to China should war break out, or, as has been suggested by some analysts, to aid the North Koreans should Allied ground forces invade.

Mainstream news coverage indicates that something is about to go down.

And, slowly but surely, reports from military personnel and contractors on military bases are starting to leak, and some of them indicate that the United States is preparing for serious confrontation.

They are gearing up for something big via Steve Quayle:

I just spoke with a close associate who has been working for the last three years at Barksdale Air Force Base, on various construction projects… This man is just a guy…a construction worker…been there all his life…salt of the earth kind of guy. In his words…”I am just a working man…doing the best I can do.”

Tonight, he called to let me know that the security and activity at Barksdale has been stepped up in his words, “by 300%”.

I asked as many questions as I felt that I could and took notes so that I could simply use his quotes to accurately report what he has stated.

“We were working on a scheduled job in the munitions dump area…building new blast walls, when AF personnel came in and told us we had to leave right now. We asked if were being given a “work stoppage order.” They replied “Get out now.” and escorted us out. “More like they rushed us out.”

On April 1, AF Chief of Staff and a bunch of other DoD dignitaries flew in to Barksdale. Those coming on the base usually have a sidearm and maybe a rifle, but since the 1st, “dignitaries are also wearing flak jackets.”

“They are gearing up for something big.”

“They are bringing in serious junk.”

“Moving in warheads…I was working in an area where cruise missles are brought in, put together, armed, and shipped out.”

His exact words were, “They are shipping some serious s*** over there.”

(Here I tried to ascertain whether these were going on ships or planes.)

He replied that “they are going everywhere.”

He also stated that “they dropped a bunch dummy bombs on some islands off the coast of North Korea”..(I just read a confirmation of that from an intelligence newsletter, and confirmed by WND an hour ago.)

I asked him if Chinese officers were still on base. He replied that he had not been working in the area in which he first saw them, for the last three weeks, but he did say this…

“The Chinese and the Russians are here…let me put it this way…everybody in the UN plus a few more are in here. (U.S.)”

He heard and directly quoted one officer referring to the testing of anti-ballistic missile defense system, “We are going to see a real test, now.” He then said that he heard “Intelligence says there will be an attack on American soil.”

He then stated that these defense missile systems were ” being shipped to several bases.”

Our sources report that military personnel at the largest Army base in the country have been instructed by military leaders to have their bags packed in the event that the situation goes hot. Troops have reportedly been told to have their financial affairs and family matters in order. Likewise, in the United Kingdom, some personnel have been asked to be prepared to deploy, as well as several who were deployed (location unknown) without warning over the course of the last week.

All signs point to a military confrontation.

Whether North Korea will start this, or whether Western allies are finally going to preemptively initiate regime change in the North is anyone’s guess.

There is also the possibility of a ‘false-flag’ event designed to completely upend the global economic and political paradigms, a scenario recently suggested by Kurt Nimmo of Infowars.com:

The Federal Reserve plan to crash the economy and make room for world government and an authoritarian globalist economic and accompanying police state control system will necessitate a sufficient prerequisite – and that prerequisite may very well be a new war on the Korean peninsula.

Economic depressions are highly scripted affairs and the banksters use them to initiate big wars – not only because wars are remarkably profitable for the military-industrial complex, but because they serve as an ideal tool for wealth consolidation and fire sales held in their aftermath. To even consider the possibility of global war, or a large-scale attack on the continental United States, is a difficult notion for many to stomach.

However, members of elite banking conglomerates, the military industrial complex, and political power structures stand to benefit greatly should a war break out.

There are Trillions of dollars at play.

War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

Benghazigate  Unanswered Questions  Letter to House

Editor’s Note – MG Paul E. Vallely has signed on to the letter due to be distributed early this week urging law makers not to let Benghazi get swept under the rug.

As Hillary Clinton finally produces written responses and more testimony, Congress must press her hard, as well as thoroughly pressing the rest of the Obama administration on Benghazi – we shall not rest until we know the full story.

Those who died must be granted no less – we never leave our fellow citizens unprotected, and we shall always come to their aid in time of need – no American is ever left in the field forever – despite the political environment that is in power.

This week, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will be making her swan song appearance on Capitol Hill, providing at last to Senate and House panels her testimony about the Benghazigate scandal. Under the circumstances, legislators may feel pressured to be deferential and to keep their questions more limited in scope and superficial rather than probing. Mystery persists six months after killings

After Iraq was liberated from Saddam Hussein’s despotic misrule, critics denounced the then-incumbent president with the charge that “Bush lied, people died.” It never ceases to amaze that among the most prominent of those making this slanderous accusation were past and current Democratic legislators who had publicly pronounced exactly what George W. Bush did: Saddam possessed — and used — weapons of mass destruction (WMD). They, like Mr. Bush, had every reason to think and did think that such weapons, or worse, might be used again unless his regime were overthrown.

Put simply, there never had been any conscious or deliberate effort to deceive the American people. Neither did Mr. Bush seek to deflect responsibility for his actions. To the contrary, his top political adviser, Karl Rove, subsequently acknowledged that his greatest mistake — at least, until he made a centi-million-dollar hash-up of campaign 2012 — was preventing any official effort from being mounted to counter the calumny that Mr. Bush lied about Iraqi WMD, with the predictable effect of allowing the credibility of the Bush-43 presidency to be destroyed.

By contrast, people did die in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012, owing to President Obama’s policies, and he lied about it, repeatedly and knowingly. This scandalous reality has come to be popularly known as “Benghazigate.”

If we don’t find out what led up to, occurred during and happened afterward — and the role played by the president and his senior subordinates throughout — there will certainly be more lies and may be more American deaths.

Despite several hearings held by assorted congressional committees, we are today no closer than before to knowing the answers to myriad questions that require urgent and authoritative answers. Among them are the following:

What role did the Obama administration’s assiduous cultivation of relations with Islamists play in the creation of the State Department’s so-called special mission facility in Benghazi? What was the true purpose of that facility, and who was assigned to staff it, with what roles?

Where are those people now and why have they not been made available to congressional investigators of the Benghazigate affair? How many of them were injured in the Benghazi attack, and what is their current status?

What caused U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens to consider it necessary to be at that facility, which he had formally complained was dangerously insecure, especially on Sept. 11, a day that al Qaeda has long sought to make open-season on Americans?

Specifically, what was the urgency of Stevens‘ last official act — an evening meeting with the Turkish consul general?

Were the special mission facility and the nearby  CIA annex involved in a covert operation to collect small arms, surface-to-air missiles or other weapons? Were any of those weapons being secretly made available — directly or indirectly — to the Syrian opposition, a group known to include  al Qaeda elements?

      If weapons secured in Libya for this purpose were transferred to the so-called Syrian rebels, was there a presidential finding authorizing such activities? In that case, had any congressional leaders been duly notified?

The public record suggests that Mr. Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton were inexplicably disengaged from the time they learned of the attack until their joint appearance the next morning in the Rose Garden. Where were they, and what were they doing during that period?

What orders were given and by whom with respect to the organization and execution of a rescue operation or other assistance to the Americans under attack? If no such orders were issued, was there direction to do nothing, and on whose authority?

Precisely who was involved in the so-called “Deputies Committee” efforts to rework the CIA talking points that were used to brief lawmakers and give the public a false narrative that an offensive video, rather than an act of terroristic jihad, was the catalyst for the attack? In particular, what role did John O. Brennan play in that disinformation?

Why did the president insist for as long as two weeks after the episode that the video was involved, prompting him to declare — among other troubling statements — at the United Nations on Sept. 25, “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”?

Is such presidential guidance the reason why the Obama administration appears to have followed through on the stated intention of Mrs. Clinton to prosecute and jail the maker of that video — with ominous implications for freedom of expression in America?

Unfortunately, even now — six months after the murderous attack in Benghazi — these and many other aspects of this scandal so redolent of the Obama administration’s penchant for putting politics before public safety still cry out for proper investigation.

The current congressional committee structure has proved unable to undertake the necessary accounting, which cuts across various command structures, operational responsibilities and the conduct of numerous agencies, both civilian and military. If anything, the multiple standing House and Senate committees, with their stove-piped jurisdictions, have actually impeded the required, comprehensive determination of the facts.

Consequently, 15 prominent conservatives — many with long experience in national security policymaking and practice — recently called for the creation of a new select committee — at a minimum in the House, but ideally a bicameral one — to get to the bottom of the Benghazigate scandal. It is the only hope for establishing why we were lied to and minimizing the chances that it will happen again, possibly at the cost of far greater loss of American lives.

Subject: The Benghazi attacks on 9/11/ 2012

The undersigned are a representative group of 700 retired Military Special Operations professionals who spent the majority of their careers preparing for and executing myriad operations to  rescue or recover detained or threatened fellow Americans. In fact, many of us participated in both the  Vietnam era POW rescue effort, The Son Tay Raid, as well as Operation Eagle Claw, the failed rescue  attempt in April of 1980 in Iran, so we have been at this for many years and have a deep passion for  seeking the truth about what happened during the national tragedy in Benghazi.

The purpose of this letter is to encourage all members of the US House of Representatives to support H.Res. 36, which will create a House Select Committee on the Terrorist Attack in Benghazi. It is  essential that a full accounting of the events of September 11, 2012, be provided and that the American  public be fully informed regarding this egregious terrorist attack on US diplomatic personnel and  facilities. We owe that truth to the American people and the families of the fallen.

It appears that many of the facts and details surrounding the terrorist attack which resulted in four American deaths and an undetermined number of American casualties have not yet been ascertained by  previous hearings and inquiries. Additional information is now slowly surfacing in the media, which  makes a comprehensive bipartisan inquiry an imperative. Many questions have not been answered thus  far. The House Select Committee should address, at a minimum, the following questions:

• Why was there no military response to the events in Benghazi
  • Were military assets in the region available? If not, why not?
  • If so, were they alerted?
  • Were assets deployed to any location in preparation for a rescue or recovery attempt?
  • Was military assistance requested by DOS? If so, what type?
  • Were any US Army/Naval/USMC assets available to support the US diplomats in  Benghazi during the attack?
  • What. If any, recommendations for military action were made by DOD and the US Africa  Command?
• What, if any, non-military assistance was provided during the attack?
• How many US personnel were injured in Benghazi?
• Why have the survivors of the attack not been questioned?
• Where are the survivors?
• Who was in the White House Situation Room (WHSR) during the entire 8-hour period of the  attacks and was a senior US military officer present?
• Where were Leon Panetta and General Martin Dempsey during the crisis and what inputs and  recommendations did they make?
•  Where were the National Security Advisor, Tom Donilon, his Deputy, Denis McDonough,  Valerie Jarrett and John Brennan during the attacks and what (if any) recommendations or  decisions did any of them make?
• Why were F-16 fighter aircraft based in Aviano, Italy (less than two hours away) never  considered a viable option for disruption if not dispersion of the attackers, until “boots on the  ground” (General Dempsey’s words) arrived?
• Were any strike aircraft (such as an AC-130 gunship) in the area or possibly overhead that would  cause former SEAL Tyrone Woods to laser his attacker’s position and call for gunship fire  support, thereby revealing his own location that lead to his death?
• Who gave the order to “STAND DOWN” that was heard repeatedly during the attacks?
• What threat warnings existed before the attack, and what were the DOD and DOS responses to  those warnings? What data (which will reveal exact timelines and command decisions) is  contained within the various SITREPS, records, logs, videos and recordings maintained by the  myriad of DOD, Intelligence Community and State Department Command Centers that were  monitoring the events in Benghazi as they unfolded?
• Why did the Commander-in Chief and Secretary of State never once check in during the night to  find out the status of the crisis situation in Benghazi?
• What was the nature of Ambassador Stevens’ business in Benghazi at the time of the attack?
•  What guidance has been provided to survivors and family members since the time of the attack,  and who issued that guidance?

This was the most severe attack on American diplomatic facilities and personnel since the attacks on the US Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya in 1998. Thus far it appears that there has been no serious  effort to determine critical details of this attack. This is inexcusable and demands immediate attention by  the Congress. Congress must show some leadership and provide answers to the public as to what actually  occurred in Benghazi. Americans have a right to demand a full accounting on this issue.

A longstanding American ethos was breached during the terrorist attack in Benghazi. America failed to provide adequate security to personnel deployed into harm’s way and then failed to respond when they  were viciously attacked. Clearly, this is unacceptable and requires accountability. America has always  held to the notion that no American will be left behind and that every effort will be made to respond when  US personnel are threatened. Given our backgrounds, we are concerned that this sends a very negative  message to future military and diplomatic personnel who may be deployed into dangerous environments.

That message is that they will be left to their own devices when attacked. That is an unacceptable message.

The House Select Committee should focus on getting a detailed account of the events in Benghazi as soon as possible. H. Res. 36 will provide a structure for the conduct of a thorough inquiry of Benghazi  and should be convened immediately.

We ask that you fulfill your responsibilities to the American people and take appropriate action regarding Benghazi. With over sixty members of the US House of Representatives calling for  this Select  Committee already, it seems that the time is right to take appropriate action on Benghazi.
