Do You Play the Multiplier Option?Reply
I only play once in a while because the odds are so bad, but I always get the Mega Plier, or Power Ball option. If I don't hit the jackpot at least I have a chance on a decent second or third prize on the 2 or 3 tickets I do buy.

Nice. You're definitely beating the odds. Your strategies are related to differential analysis, which I've found to be helpful in other lotteries. There is no Pick 10 in my area, so I haven't coded/programmed and tested with past Pick 10 draw data yet. Maybe some day I'll get around to that.

Not only should the lower tier payouts better reflect the odds, they should better reflect the ticket price doubling. Thanks for posting this payout and odds history. Another useful history would be the (total player payout) / (total player cost). ie, what's the % of player money, in aggregate, that gets siphoned away from them playing these lose-a-lot lotteries.
