What Are The Odds?
Hi all! I am new here so not sure if this is the appropriate place for this post. I bought 2 quick picks for the Powerball drawing. I looked at the tickets and on both 2 of the 5 regular numbers were the same and then the Red Powerball number on both tickets were the same. I was just wondering if this is common? Of all the years of playing I would very rarely see the same number on both, especially not 3! I am feeling pretty lucky, ha! I will wake up a millionaire tomorrow

Hi Adobea I took a long break from this but had alot of fun learning a couple months back.. I think what I was missing most was understanding how to optimize the odds you were identifying like when you said things such as.. Are you waging or just in perpetual testing? The odds in any chance game is against you. You will not know when to take a chance when in perpetual test mode!. You should focus more on pattern projections to get the parameters (pairs, doubles etc) right . On the average doubles and distinct draws occurs in similar rate ( normal distribution). Trying to win every draw is not going to happen, all you need is a good hit. Remember , the odds is stack against you, pattern projection is a narrow opening to capitalize.

to follow up again why i think doubles are a waste, here in Ontario the odds are like this.. For tonight I played all the triples 2X, 34 str8, and 43 str8 2X. doesn't mean it's going to show, I just like the odds and I haven't had time to look through things. The 111 888 were high on the list for many multi-plays but just covered all my bases.
