What Are The Odds?
Hi all! I am new here so not sure if this is the appropriate place for this post. I bought 2 quick picks for the Powerball drawing. I looked at the tickets and on both 2 of the 5 regular numbers were the same and then the Red Powerball number on both tickets were the same. I was just wondering if this is common? Of all the years of playing I would very rarely see the same number on both, especially not 3! I am feeling pretty lucky, ha! I will wake up a millionaire tomorrow

Hi Adobea I took a long break from this but had alot of fun learning a couple months back.. I think what I was missing most was understanding how to optimize the odds you were identifying like when you said things such as.. Are you waging or just in perpetual testing? The odds in any chance game is against you. You will not know when to take a chance when in perpetual test mode!. You should focus more on pattern projections to get the parameters (pairs, doubles etc) right . On the average doubles and distinct draws occurs in similar rate ( normal distribution). Trying to win every draw is not going to happen, all you need is a good hit. Remember , the odds is stack against you, pattern projection is a narrow opening to capitalize.

to follow up again why i think doubles are a waste, here in Ontario the odds are like this.. The rules and premise of lottery games are clear! workout and waging strategy should be around them. Take any P3 draws, you can observe a digit repeats in subsequent draws, what do you do with this information. Taking all 3 digits as lead digits means 300 picks for a straight, this is not certain as the odds remain 1/1000. You can not afford to play a digit in any combination.

This is a drawing since hit chart (DSH). Basically I am trying to track my selections with colors. In this DSH my power number is the 26, at skip 36. The arrows reflect pairs with the #26 which i found from SLAG. 26 17 26 35 26 39 I am trying to mix skips with at least 4 in last 5, and two longs, this case my long is my power number of #26 Skips of 7 or 8 should always be present. But mainly DONT play any numbers higher than 45, that is the key, but its hard.
