Hey cape scratcher, I'm actually in Washington visiting family. The $30 cash blowout game has 1-10 odds for a prize. It works out to 1-15 odds for a $100 prize and 1-30 odds for a $500 prize. There are 30 tickets in a book. So out of 30 tickets, you'll have 2 $100 winners and 1 $500 winner.

Hey -Pants77, (and Skeptic) thanks for posting about your experiences with the $20 Gold Rush Limited, as indeed I find it completely uninspiring. Sure the winning odds of 1/2.65 looks favorable, but so many are simple $20 money back wins, and with $200 wins at 1/1,500, and higher $ wins even more slim odds this game is all about money back or hoping you're one of the 1/756,000 to hit a $1M. Even so, everything else being equal, I'll take 2 $50 500X tickets over 5 $20 GRL any day, as even correct

Hey Skeptic, yep, correcting for price, the $10 Madness is, hands down, the best for $500 among ANY FL scratch game. People often get confused on this subject...like I recall doing the Math for someone showing that, remaining prizes being equal, you'd have better odds hitting $1M by getting 2 old 500X $50 pink than 5 $20 Gold Rush Limited. So $10 Madness odds for $500 are 1/136, but $500 odds for, say, the new 500X are 1/46...Madness is of course 1/5th the price, so equalize divide the 136/5

Yeah when it comes to that kind of $ I've only over done a book over time. For example, not long after the new FL $50 500X the Cash game came out I played a book via one of my regular retailer guys...would do 2 to 3 tickets at a time but he kept the book aside for me so that over the course of 6 weeks or so I ended up playing all 30 tickets. With that game the minimum win is $100 and odds for a $500 are 1/48, so odds wise there's a good chance for a $500 in each book. Whelp tbh that book was one

1 in 2.93 are the overall odds on the 300x. You original prediction came real close. Then when you tweaked the Estimated Payout sent your calculation over 3.00. Not sure how you come up with these odds scenarios. But usually you're right on the money.

Here's the odds table for the new $50 500X (game #1555). Prize odds compared to the original 500X game are close, with some $ slightly better, and others worse...but $50K appears a bit better, although it's only a sliver of the game total. Yeah I get what your saying but I still think it's disgusting as hell. Yeah it's legal because the state gets the profit and the state makes the laws. It's kind of like if we let the heroin dealer make the laws I'm pretty sure heroin would be legal. At least for him. Just like the lottery is only legal for the govt. Hey Skeptic, lots of ground covered but as usual I have some comments/thoughts, and not necessarily in the order in which yours were laid out. On the question of why there s another $50 ticket I think the short answer is because the initial one has proven very strong since it came out just over a year ago. The 500X game order consisted of slightly more than 42.8M tickets (about 1.428M books) and it s 80%+ sold (and there s still a $25M top prize unclaimed) so there s been very brisk sales.
