Here's the odds table for the new $50 500X (game #1555). Prize odds compared to the original 500X game are close, with some $ slightly better, and others worse...but $50K appears a bit better, although it's only a sliver of the game total. I didn't see it on last week's ILR at the end of last week, but then again they excluded it from the one I got in advance of the original pink $50 500X being released. If one comes I'll look at the prize odds/structure before playing.

Hi Gators, and yeah I noted that as well. Beyond the decent odds for $100 there's not a lot that jumps out about it. I do though welcome a new $20 version of the Triple Match concept...at least it's not yet another straight-up number match game like the other $20 offerings.

FL Lotto posted info in the FL Register about the game on Friday. It takes a little number crunching to derive the odds and such but isn't to difficult. I do the numbers.

i relayed your comment to chad g. petey. he said billy willy's beer store sells $8 scratchers where the top prize is beer for life paid out as a 37 year annuity. he also said the odds of winning are 1 in pineapple. none of that sounds correct, but you are very loyal to chad so i'll let you work it out.

Hey Skeptic, nice $150, and absolutely correct about the odds for it. In fact I think all prize levels from $30 to $150 are each more rare than the 1/136 $500 win. $150 is still a nice win, but for sure I hope your next ones on the Madness are the $500 variety!!

Thanks, Skeptic! The $150 odds are 1/1712, vs 1/136 for the $500, so at that ratio I figure I'm due for a bunch of $500s! Have no fear, Skeptic, even though the $500 Madness is now 3+ years old it's still going strong with slightly more than 80% sold. Providing the Lotto doesn't yank the game I believe it has enough remaining books to be around through the end of 2023. Go score some $500s!!

Looks like around 200-220 books of 1490 out there, along with 2k+ of the 1491 remaining. It would be insane for the $500 week for life game and/or $1000 week for life games to end with a final prize remaining. Can someone really miss a jackpot on a $1 or $2 scratchoff, or would standard business practices justify how with odds of 1 in 5,923,200 the final top prize just ended up being discarded or missed? In Texas a pack usually has a guarantee of 50% of the cost of the pack, give or take, so a $10 pack costing $500 is guaranteed to return about $250. I wouldn't say the outcome is most likely profitable. Possible, yes, not most likely. I imagine scratch ticket odds are the same in any other state selling lottery tickets, but I haven't researched other states, so I may be wrong.
