MM $168 million!
I would have to disagree with that. Why on earth would I give $50 million to a city like Detroit to help rebuild it? When, in fact, it is supposed to be the city's problem and not mine? If the city doesn't care to help rebuild Detroit, why should I? If I did give $50 millions or more for my winnings, that would probably only be half of what the city needs. And with that much money donated, it wouldn't be enough to cover years down the road. You can help rebuild a city, but would it stay nice and

Why does New York always win MM & PB?
That is very true.
The worst possible witness in a crime is the EYE Witness.
And in the case of the lottery, too many times people think they see something that is not there, or they try to convince their brain to pick their 'favorite numbers' and think they have a justification. Never fall in love with a number or series of numbers.
Just because you like Rick Hendrick Motorsports doesn't mean you should run out and buy tickets with #5, #24, #48, and for sake of argument, #8.

Orlando Powerball Winner
The Orlando Sentinel online has in-depth coverage of the winner of Fla's largest jackpot, Dr. William Steele. It's interesting to see some of the comments being posted about the article. Many people resent that a wealthy doctor won. I have to admit that was my first reaction as well, but after learning a little more about Dr. Steele and his plans for the money I'm glad it was him. I think it'll be interesting to see how an INTELLIGENT, charitable person will handle the windfall. Just a couple of

What do you like for the red PB number tonight? Why?
For an Oracle to dally
Would truly be a crime
Especially when he knows
That this is Hammer Time
So he'll divine a number
For the masses that do pine
To live a life of leisure
After Hammer Time

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yes, you bring up all good points, it's easy to get scammed when there is so much confusion and the con men are always there to take advantage of someone, even I get mixed up sometimes about what games are on what days, or what day it is, sometimes I'll ask for MM on Wed. when I really want PB, and then I catch myself and have to tell the clerk I really wanted PB before she hits the computer keys!
Due to a confusing situation at a slot machine, I was a victim of theft in Atlantic City at the

Canadian 6+1 game
in 1983 i was charged with an offense after i took my dad's car. i got 6 months probation with a conditional discharge. i figured i had no criminal record. after running the marathon in chicago 3 times and philadelphia, once, i entered the tennessee marathon in 1999. this time at the airport the dude checked me out and found that i had a charge of theft over 5000$ , which was the 1983 incident. made it sound a lot nastier, but of course i couldn't explain to them it was dad's car. 1 fellow work
