Post Your Winning Instant ("Scratch-Off") Tickets for Georgia..Keeping it Real!
That seems to be the smartest thing to do. The $25 Hit game in Georgia is an absolute joke. Sure the odds of hitting $500 are decent, but only marginally better than some of the $20 games. A jackpot of $6000 on a $25 ticket? You have to be kidding me. The odds were 1 in 400k I believe as well, which is absolutely disgusting. Even our $5 tickets in Florida have odds of around 1 in 120k at hitting $10k. That ticket looks cool because it is wide and big, but is an absolutely joke. The $7500/week

Here's the new $10 Wheel of Fortune prize structure. I don't know the exact game odds. Guesstimating the odds are 1 in 3.5 roughly, and there's 2991245 winning tickets...= at least 10.5m total tickets printed. So, that means the top prize of $2M should = 1 in 2.6m. It will be a tad bit worse if the game odds are a little worse, but it sure beats the $10 Gold Rush's odds of 1 in 3.5m at hitting the top prize. I don't have time to guesstimate the odds for all the other prize tiers, but I assum

Scratch off odds question
World class millions was a scratch off game in Massachusetts in 2014, the game is sold out leaving one 15 million dollar prize outstanding, I presently have 6 unscratched tickets, what are my odds given that the game is extinct? (I have until September to cash out if I have won)

@ Numb3rs - Smart move. I only tried $100 worth of the big tickets. Some of the $2 Georgia Lottery tickets may be better options to play than the $20, $25, and $30 tickets. They have $2 tickets with a jackpot of $100k, although the odds are around 1.8m. Still, better than playing for $30k with odds around 1.2m for example. If I were someone who lived on the border or worked in Georgia, I would probably play the $2 games and then maybe strategically pick out $20 and $30 games. The $25 games absol

I am liking this new $25 game structure....heck, i don't play them for the $500 prizes and Gold Rush has that prize amount kind of locked up with such good odds on that $500 prize. I wish they did away with the other 2 - $10,000,000 prizes also because the odds on hitting a million look to be the best odds ever offered by the lottery. Think of it this way, 40 tickets to a full pack and with around 14,000 retailers selling at least 2-3 full packs the first week a game is released you have around

The $2 game is noteworthy in my book. 1 in 482,400 at 30k. Best odds I think they've done on a $2 GP. Those odds are a little worse than 50% of the ILL odds for the grand prize. (1 in 877,500)

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Fantasy 5 has excellent odds. When I was searching the winners PDF, I noticed winners who have won multiple times on that game. Low buy in, and life altering payouts. Anything you can go from the multimillions to hundreds of thousands in terms of probability...that's a good thing. The PowerBall has good decent odds at winning the $50k prize tier, but aside from that, the 1 in 292 million odds of hitting the jackpot or even the odds of hitting $1M are so i

I'd say keep going with the $5 Money Money Money, an maybe try some of the older $5 tickets like Cash Fall or Winning Streak. I feel like those two are due for a top prize hit. The $5 Wheel of Fortune would have also been one of my recommendations, but it had another top prize found on it recently. The printed odds may make it seem like $25 and $20 tickets are better, but not by much. 1 in 2.88 isn't much better than 1 in 4, in my opinion, especially when you consider you can buy 4 $5 ticket

Odds are still low, honestly even pulling a $500 winner is a stretch with the overall odds being something like 1 in 1,000 during the final drawing. Significantly better than something like the Powerball, or even the regular chances of hitting $1M on a scratchoff of course. 2,500/570,000 = 0.0043% chance when you crunch the numbers, it makes sense as to why very few of us even hit something. I think one person posted saying he won $500 during one of the weekly drawings. With that being said

Scratcher ladder
Yes, I've done this many times, but, in the end, the odds of winning are always against you. Running the ladder is smart, because the overall odds are almost always better for more expensive tickets. So, if you're going to run the ladder, make sure you won enough to buy multiple tickets at the next, higher price. ALSO, only buy ONE TICKET at a time. Stop buying when you've hit a winner, because the odds of winning another prize, back to back, is relatively small.
