High rate of Tenn. Lottery scholarships are lost by bad grades
These cases are showing that the parents should be a little more responsible and to teach kids strong work ethics...this disgusts me. I hope that the students you get are better than that! Good luck on the rest of your schooling! And I agree...it's students like you that deserve these scholarships.

Texas lottery raises concerns over GTECH's practices, ethics
Lottery giant's merger with Lottomatica requires that Texas agree to keep its contract with the company GTECH Holding Corp.'s stock plummeted as much as 14 percent yesterday morning before rebounding after the Texas Lottery Commission and the Texas Department of Public Safety raised concerns about the company's business practices and ethical integrity. Investors, anticipating that Texas might adversely impact GTECH's pending $4.8-billion acquisition by Italy's Lottomatica SpA, sold off so

Lottery winner doesn’t live like a millionaire
This is going way back in the day, yet I recall one of my first grade classmates being a paperboy with his older brother. They would take turns on the routes in our city. So , yes its feasible to be working at that age and gain an income. Also there are kids that gather aluminum cans in our neighborhood and send them to a recycle place in our town. They literally have wagons they drag over to the factory .It's good to see a lady establish a business and still keep her work ethics with such a nic

N.C. Lottery may need bigger consequences for lapse in ethics
In Ohio this year, for example, Gov. Bob Taft was prosecuted for failing to report nearly $6,000 in gifts, and a judge ordered him to pay $4,000 in fines and write a letter to the people of Ohio acknowledging his violation of ethics laws. Not bad, $2,000.00 profit. No wonder politicians are so afraid of committing crimes. Must be a horrible feeling, knowing everyone knows your a crook, and will never hire you for a profitable position. Knowing you'll have to spend the rest of your life receivin

Is This For Real?
Hey DeaconT, I received the same email and usually in ten seconds I delete those suckers but this one had me thinking for a 30 seconds because I do play overseas lotteries but believe me anytime someone s contact information is hard to find and NOT PUBLIC then beware it's 100% a scam. Any public company offering anything real will make is a point to make their contact information available throughout all contacts with their clients, it's called business ethics and law. Realtors, for example cann

The lottery post seems to be full of wann
Bob (Bluegrass), I hope you reconsider your decision. You were on these forums before I even got into the game and I've always respected you and your lottery play.It would be a travesty to lose you or anyone else from this forum due to one person's lack of ethics. Remember there are 10% in every crowd...you are not one of them and neither are 90% of the rest of us.Please hang around. The ripoff artist has been exposed. It was necessary. We can't let that affect us or our decisions or they b

Fla. Lottery official arrested on bribery charges
A Florida Lottery district manager was arrested on bribery charges Friday after allegedly accepting payment from a Gainesville store owner he thought was seeking preferential treatment in getting a lottery ticket machine. Instead, the store owner was helping the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which was monitoring the action and arrested Donnie Hampton, district manager of the Florida Lottery's Jacksonville-Gainesville office, said Sharon Gogerty, an FDLE spokeswoman. Hampton was ac

Do any systems actually work?
So now you're a pro on gambling ethics? Are there really professionals on gambling ethics or just confused? And you're posting on a lottery board touting $252 bets on one draw. Nope I posted there are 252 combination in a Full 10 number wheel. I gave you a link to LP's wheels and if I had mentioned the Full 16 number wheel with 4368 lines, would you ignorantly say I was touting betting $9736 on one PB drawing? If I really was a dealer? The thing is, I believe you probably we

Ethical Question
Well...had the ticket been a big winner..the ethical thing to do would be to track down who had the book last...since that piece of information would be easily attainable. I don't really understand how it was not possible to know who had the book last or prior to the last person who had it. Anyway..I think ethics wouldn't play as much a part as conscience would. What if it was a big winner? There are no ethics concerning an unsigned, unclaimed, lost/misplaced lottery ticket...only
