Disadvantages of a Blind Trust?
So I was reading through some old stories earlier about lottery winners using Blind Trusts to claim their winnings anonymously. It got me thinking about all those that don't choose to accept this way and why they don't. For those that don't know, here's the major advantage of a Blind Trust. A Blind Trust will hide your identity from long lost relatives , actual relatives that are either untrustworthy or very greedy, keep your friends/coworkers unaware and thus preserving your relationshi

Blind trust to stay anonymous
If someone wishes to remain anonymous to claim their lottery winning, however they then hire a lawyer to make a blind trust is it possible the lawyer can cheat the winner out of their winnings. If so is there a way not to be cheated if it goes into a blind trust? I wouldn t want anyone to be in control my the money I would win.

Blind Trust
Same with a blind trust. A blind trust is used mostly by people that have assets that would be considered a conflict of interest in what they are now doing. They put their assets in a blind trust. It is called blind because they can not see the assets in the trust and they can not control them, so there is no conflict.

Many sites will mention the different types of trusts but say nothng about how to set up a Blind Trust. From what I can gather Blind Trusts were conceived and set up so that the beneficiary of the trust has absolutely no idea where the

Is it possible to remain anonymous in NJ through a trust or attorney?

The only real quetion is what information the state will release to the public. Every legal entity, whether it's a trust (of any sort), a corporation, or an individual has the name of at least one person associated with it. For a blind trust the trustee is the legal owner. I would assume that unless the l
