Hi Steve, I want to thank you also for all the PDF files you wrote, every single filter is explain in such details that there is no way you can't understand, you have covered just about everything in it. Whitout these files it would be very hard to set those filters. Congratulation, Serge. frenchie I don't know how Steven does it, the guy is a mulitasking machine. It seems he can work on ten projects at the same time and take side orders while he's doing it. Definitely a one of a kind, I often feel like I take advantage of his generosity asking him to do something for me but he's always up for it. He is a real asset here at LP, can't say that enough. The documentation in PDF for the ON (Odd Number filter) and OD (Odd Digit filter) seems to be the same, but when you look at database you see that sometimes they have different values. For example the 05/16/2012 Powerball drawing was the following: 03-07-21-28-43-02 The ON number value is 4 which seems right, the OD number is 3 and the ED number is 2. It seems like OD is number of unique odd digits using both left/right digits of numbers and ED is number of unique even digits using both left/right digits of numbers. Jimmy I corrected the O/N "Odd Number" and O/D "Odd Digit" (second digit) filter information in the PDF. Thanks for pointing out the error. In order to be sure to save my settings I have to hit Exit button? I hit Windows X button and I lost my settings, argh !!! Is there a way to save current settings that I like to a file for import later? I like to experiment but then want to toss those changes and revert back to good settings. Jimmy

Is there a way to save current settings that I like to a file for import later? I like to experiment but then want to toss those changes and revert back to good settings. Jimmy JW The settings for both games are saved in a file located in the sub directory C:\DMP-BG\Files\Settings.DMP. To save a setup first make any changes that you want and then exit the program using the exit button. The file is encrypted so do not edit this file with another program because it also contains the array values used by the program. Changing even one value could crash the program or create unwanted operation. Next copy the SETTINGS.DMP file to another location, this is more like making a backup copy of your settings and when you want to go back to those just copy it back into the C:\DMP-BG\Files directory. Digit Master must not be running while copying or restoring this file. I had a auto backup option in the code for debugging the code but removed it in the final release. I also removed the code that saved everything when the windows [X] button was pressed. In the event that the system hangs or goes into a endless loop the user needs a way to exit the program other than the task manager. That is why I changed the Windows [X] exit option. I will maybe add a multi-save option so that a person can cave any setup and store it, A few of the people who helped in the beta testing suggested this option but I opted out because as time moves along you will find less and less need for it. The only real reason to have it would be to save the setup you want to use and then be able to play around with other setups while waiting for the game. Here's what I suggect, first make/create another folder on your C:\ and name it something like DMP-TEST. Now copy everything from the main program directory C:\DMP-BG\ into the DMP-TEST folder then create a shortcut to the DMP-BG.EXE. It is the same as having two copies installed on the same computer, The second one can be used for playing around with settings while you use the first for your actual play. You could even run three copies, One for the setups you intend to play and a test copy for both PB and MM. The program is stand alone and everything needed to run it is inside the programs folder. The program makes no changes to the windows registry and does not rely on any other files to run so you could use as many copies on your C:\ as you want. Hope this helps RL Working on my Ph.D. "University of hard Knocks"

sammy23 A couple years ago I released a older version for state pick-5 games and it became a full time job supporting it. If I add one state P-5 game then everyone will want one. I have gotten several PM's asking this same question. I play my 5-39 mostly because it pays better for the lower prizes and I don't like loosing a dollar. I would have to build all the pick-5 pick-6 databases and it takes a number of both internal and external adjustments before a game can be added. I wrote the code that way to prevent priacy, there are people out there that will go to any lenth to do this, and for that reason I took several precautions. I might consider in the future adding these games but it will most likely be for a fee to cover my time, something like $5.00 per added game. I am looking at spending close to $500.00 bucks out of pocket right now to upgrage my bandwith and there is only so much I can afford to do for free. I expected by this time to get several error or bug reports but so far so good, I have not received any. I found a couple minor ones the the beta testers missed but none of them effect the sets or normal operation. Steve done a very goog job with the help files and I am a bit taken back that so few questions have been asked. I am an embedded system programmer and work in the electronics field by day and the lottery is just a hobby, I am also working on a couple I-Phone apps in my spare time, Ha! I have no spare time. Maybe if things keep going smooth I may add the other games but have to work out the piracy problems that would go with it. I do have some dated setup code that restricts the number of days a person has to install the program. If the program is installed before a certain date then it will run forever but once the date has come and gone the program becomes worthless. This works well but the date is hardcoded into each release so that means that I have to recompile the program each time and also will lead to other problems down the raod where someone has a system crash and needs to reinstall. Every solution creates more problems. Keep checking back because if enough people are interested I might do it. RL Working on my Ph.D. "University of hard Knocks"

Have to echo the thanks to the two people for their hard work in making this available. I play Lotto 6/49 and PowerBall 5/45 so won't be able to test/give input/ideas/strategies on the program. I do have RL's "system" from his original thread in pdf and constantly go through it for ideas in case I missed something. While I can't use the program in it's current form for my games, just looking at it and the various filters has opened up a whole new perspective on the Digit System, so thanks for that :-)

Ramijami I may add a few international games as this moves along, I have been toying with the idea of adding 6-49 for Canada and might build you a 6-49 or 5/45 version. I remember you from the old post. The program is only available in english but sometimes I forget just how many english speeking nations ther are. Anyway, keep a eye open. I have a few people in Europe that I have built games for and as far as I know they are still using. RL Working on my Ph.D. "University of hard Knocks"

Hello, rl rondo, and stern, it is possible to include the analysis of probabildade of digits in each number, eg, what is the probability of repeating digits in the last 10 results? Or how likely leave some digits together to form the number? thank you

Hi guys Just wanted to let people know that the video downloads have been removed to save bandwith. The video can still be accessed using the links that steve provided. This might get me trought the rest of the month without having to upgrade. RL Working on my Ph.D. "University of hard Knocks"

Thanks for the feedback and will keep my eye open for any future updates. I see there isn't an option to load a draw history, and was thinking this feature might eliminate the need for you to constantly maintain databases (not sure if/how this will impact on the security of your code though). I am also of the opinion that people should engage with the particular games they play and maintaining their own draw history is one way of doing this (one has to at least do SOME work). Even though I can't make use of the program currently, I must admit that I've been having fun testing out the features.
Thanks | | |

This is a new PDF with Notes and Screenshots from Video #2. https://www.box.com/s/5a562666653f31e94ca1 Video 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0wm-RgrydA&feature=channel&list=UL I would recommend watching the video and going through the PDF. I added a number of extra screenshots in the PDF. The video that Craig created shows you the filters he used for the Mega Millions and the Power Ball game. This is a good stating point on how to select the game you want to play, the number of filters and filter settings (Minimum/Maximum), groups setings (Minimum/Maximum) , and digits setings (Minimum/Maximum). The video also shows how to use "R-A-C" "Run Auto Cover" to filter millions of sets down to a manageble number. Also, using the "Check" in addition to the "Auto" button to see how many sets in the TEMP File (Temporary File) file matched 3of5, 4of5, 5of5. You don't need to set every filter from the program. Craig, in his video shows you a screenshots of both the Mega Millions and Power Ball filters he used in the examples. Good Luck!!

RL, Winsum: Need some help. I just updated MM and see that I had 2-3's. Great for a first time out of 30 lines. Anyway, using the same sample settings for MM I just ran the full wheel again and I'm only getting 2 lines? Am I doing somehting wrong? Please advise. Thanks Meskhov

Thanks Meskhov meskhov The run process does not touch the database so it should produce the exact same sets before or after you update the database. I would say that the most likely reason would be that a setting got changed somehow. Double check your settings very closely and see if this is the problem. Very nice job hitting the 3of5's the first time out. You may have noticed that only two filters changed more than one value up or down for the last draw. If you have some free time you might want to share the setup you used and or maybe some of the thought processes behind your selections to help others. Always good to hear good news. Let me know if this does not help, maybe send me a screenshot of the settings you have set. RL Working on my Ph.D. "University of hard Knocks"
