digital drawings
Call me crazy but I like computer drawn numbers. Sure there has been fraud but IMO RNG draws are not 100% random, and as such, occasionally patterns develop. As far as PB or MM going RNG? I doubt it. Stack47 is correct... A lot of drama will be lost when people stop seeing those balls drop.

No more scratchers for me. No more.
Aren't scratchers subject to fraud? I remember a story not long ago where a store employee took a needle and scratched a thin line across the scratcher bar code, she was then able to scan it to see if it was a winner. She then bought the winning scratcher and cashed it in. Don't remember how they caught her but I'm glad they did.

Taxes
Thank you for the replies. I've been told that I can't do it and I've been told that I can do it. I just don't want to get down the road and get audited and be accused of fraud. All of my losses are true losses and it makes the difference between paying $5100 or receiving back $3100.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
I understand your concern. There have been instances, however, where both ball-drawing equipment and RNGs have been compromised. The critical issue, as you have referenced, is having the security and integrity measures in place to protect against wrong-doing. Someone will always be trying to beat the system, and lotteries constantly have to make improvements to guard against that. The breach of trust in the lottery jackpot investigation stems from the actions of those who apparently were willing

losing a ton from bad investments given by your financial advisors.. .
There's a huge difference between lousy advice and fraud. You can sue your financial advisors because you only got a 5% ROI instead of 10%, but you're not going to win. In the case you're referring to I doubt a jury will believe the advisors just gave him bad advice. My recollection is that what they (allegedly) did goes far beyond incompetence or poor judgment. Of course they had a client who wasn't the sharpest tool in a box of feather dusters.

losing a ton from bad investments given by your financial advisors.. .
No, it is still up to you to watch your investments. Look at some of the hollywood stars or Pro athletes that have lost all or some of their money. Example: New York investment adviser Bernard Madoff serving 150 years for investment advisor fraud. Watch your money, look at your statements every month.

How much for the tithe?
But my charity organization will actually do something for good. Some politicians do it and get away with it without actually doing good things. At least I want to do good things since I am a firsthand witness of government fraud and waste.

How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
I am talking about 21 million dollars, 25% of the top prizes. If you want to spend $25 on a ticket without a chance of winning the advertised prizes, be my guest. It is suckers like you, suckers who keep hoping and living life with their blinders on that keep this fraud going.

How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
There is no proof that massive fraud is being done about these scratch of tickets. You are just talking about the top prizes. We here read about winners not coming coming fore right away to claim the prizes. Someone out there may all ready have a few of large prize tickets. May be using a adviser advice.
