What do you do to Increase your Odds of Winning?
Well, it really isn't a system if there' no causality. It doesn't matter what kind of frequency analysis, addition, subtraction or multiplying that you do, if there isn't a reason behind it then it's just arithmetic. Methods of covering odds such as wheels are just too rich for my blood as you wind up buying hundreds of tickets and most wheels involve selecting a subset of the numbers to cover often chosen by frequency statistics but the mechanics of the draw are such that the difference bet

As technology and software progress....
Hi BobP, i follow you with what you write. I don't know if it's accurate enough, but here is something i read not to long ago, and from my point of view this comes very close to what it really comes down to: **************************** No one really needs any lottery software, anyone can make their own wheels, use filters, calculate statistics, find out what states had 3 doubles in a row (talking pick3 here), what states had no double in for example 15 draws, find the hitting hi

Odds 101
Your first two paragraphs suggest that you might be really close to getting my point, and I think you'll be there as soon as you consider that the question isn't how much can you profit, but what are the chances of winning? Here are some questions. 1. After thoroughly shuffling a standard deck of cards you draw a single card at random. Nobody placed a bet on the outcome and no money changed hands. Was it still possible to calculate the odds of drawing the ace of spades? 2. It see

code breaking and the LOtto...
Quote: Originally posted by BobP on May 28, 2006 The problem is lottery numbers don't stand for anything, they are not a measure of anything, so there is no meaning behind their order to be worked out like there is with a code. They are pictures that happen to look like numbers. Because of this we can use some math to deal with their distribution. It helps to remember a 1 has no more or less value then a 49. There are patterns and those patterns can be slid up and down the scale. So even

What a program needs to be good ...
RJOh.. I read your post here. And your right. Lottos are random. But you can increase your chances of winning. If you Track Numbers (Hot Numbers), Calculate Possible Patterns, or what ever you use. It will increase the ODDS. See it is more than common sence that if low numbers have hit in the last week..then high numbers are due to hit. Thats what makes it RANDOM. You get three (3) days of lows and you say.. oh I am going to play low cuz two (2) weeks ago this happend and they stayed low

Do lottery systems really work?
Thomas,If the balls don't carry any designations, then how do you know how to play? And actually, programs like WINHunter attempt to predict based on the concept of predicting what WON'T happen...As in your case of predicting the BB pattern. Right off the bat, I know the pattern will most likely be in a particular location. IN otherwords, if you set a rule to throw in a particular direction, say, at a target, then I know the pattern CANNOT exist behind you, etc. IN the case of lottery draws,

How To Bet the Lotteries
http://members.aol.com/barelybad/lottery.htm How To Bet the LotteriesIn order to graduate from the Summerfield School of Business at the University of Kansas, I was required to take and pass Calculus 101, Calculus 102, a course called Probability and Matrices, and the dreaded Business 368, Statistics. Those four courses in mathematics have thoroughly prepared me to dispense some 100%-authoritative wisdom about how to bet the lottery. Here it is.The best way to bet the lottery is by pretend. If y

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
If you, Lotto Pro, Gail Howard, or anybody else in the history of the universe can take 102 (see note a) consecutive non-pseudo random draws, use the middle 100 (see note b) for data, and come up with any formula to determine what the first draw or last draw is in your chosen range of data, and do that more than once, I'll eat a hat. Any hat. Does Sombrero Galaxy count as a hat? I'm very confident I won't need to book travel on a warp drive starship any time soon, or ever. (a) Pick any range.

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Overall odds are that there are 4 winners in 500,000 tickets so simple math would calculate to 1/125,000 If the 4 top prize tickets were sold in the first 4 tickets, that would seem to throw the odds out of whack and that's probably where the disagreement comes in at work.....they/you are thinking in terms of top prize winnings being sold right off the bat..then what happens to the odds?...it makes some sense thinking like you do and if that scenario happened, it would seem the odds

Monopoly Millionaires game
considered the possibility that whatever network picking up the TV show may have paid for the TV rights which would offset the costs of the show? Any proceeds from airing would pay for the production of the show, but not the actual costs to fund attendees or prize winners. Because it is a Monopoly-themed show, undoubetedly, Hasbro will be getting the largest chunk of monies, since it is their intellectual property. In fact, I think their studio is the one producing it. I will have to further
