In other words if 80% of ticket sales are QPs, than 80% of winning tickets should be QPs. That cain't be true, cauze it would be implying that NO Self-Pick ticketz EVER win..!! We know..anuther Probability in action huh?

the 70%/30% distribution That was an answer to the type of tickets sold; QPs or self picks. And more of a tongue-in-cheek response to probability. In other words if 80% of ticket sales are QPs, than 80% of winning tickets should be QPs. If terminals or the actual RNG drawings were programmed not to repeat combinations, they would not be random.

Good find! I don't remember seeing a lot of reading material at the garage sales and flea markets here. The stuff you do see is generally religious. Nothing wrong with that either. You can add Jackpot Triple Play to your list. The max jackpot is 2 million for that game. In the past, when it got to 2 million somebody hit it soon thereafter. The lotteries make money off ticket sales. The odds of ANY particular game are such that it just doesn't matter if they are lurking. Especially jackpot games. Our resident LO hater is so afraid that they will find out his probability math number will cost him a jackpot when he forgets that MM is a game that has literally hundreds of millions of combinations. Go figure.

I sell a lot of scratchers in my little c-store, but with MM being as high as it is, I'm selling a lot of online tix too. I always knew scratchers outsell online tix. I think it's the instant gratification (hope?) that drives the high sales, instead of waiting for a drawing. Nice work Joe!
