Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
In other words if 80% of ticket sales are QPs, than 80% of winning tickets should be QPs. That cain't be true, cauze it would be implying that NO Self-Pick ticketz EVER win..!! We know..anuther Probability in action huh?

Playing Quick Picks Versus Picking Your Own Numbers
the 70%/30% distribution That was an answer to the type of tickets sold; QPs or self picks. And more of a tongue-in-cheek response to probability. In other words if 80% of ticket sales are QPs, than 80% of winning tickets should be QPs. If terminals or the actual RNG drawings were programmed not to repeat combinations, they would not be random.

Did MM increase the jackpot?
Or did they screw up and accidentally reveal some marketing truth and announce an imaginary cash value that's needed to buy the advertised annuity? The TX lottery website MM worksheet says that a roll will bring us an advertised jackpot of $354 million for Tuesday, but with a slightly higher cash: annuity ratio. It's also showing that higher ratio for tonight's drawing, and both the worksheet and the official MM website are reporting the cash value for tonight's drawing as $175.8 million ins

Play 10 tickets every drawing or $100 once every two weeks?
The overall odds of winning something playing PB is 1:24.8671 and 1:24 for MM. Those odds or probabilities apply the same in each of the ten drawings so your 5 tickets are more likely to match nothing than winning a prize. You can use each of the MM bonus numbers twice on 50 tickets and those 2 tickets each is guaranteed to win something and have a 1:12,607,306 chance of winning the jackpot so once every two weeks is probably the better bet. Might be better to save the $10 for each drawing u

Wit and Wisdom of old lottery players...
Good find! I don't remember seeing a lot of reading material at the garage sales and flea markets here. The stuff you do see is generally religious. Nothing wrong with that either. I'd guess people here who has a lot of religious reading isn't big on having a lot of gambling material, unless it is Bingo or cow patty Bingo. Forgot last night was Thursday until about 11Pm. Updating my 4/35 files. G

Florida lottery jackpot games
You can add Jackpot Triple Play to your list. The max jackpot is 2 million for that game. In the past, when it got to 2 million somebody hit it soon thereafter. But not with the most recent 2 million dollar jackpot. It kept rolling over from Early June to late August. That's due to low coverage which translates into low ticket sales. There aren't sufficient enough six number combo's sold that will produce a jackpot winner. The Florida Lottery must have at least half of all possible combo's s

Do lottery employees read our posts?
The lotteries make money off ticket sales. The odds of ANY particular game are such that it just doesn't matter if they are lurking. Especially jackpot games. Our resident LO hater is so afraid that they will find out his probability math number will cost him a jackpot when he forgets that MM is a game that has literally hundreds of millions of combinations. Go figure.

State-by-State Comparison: Scratchers Sales vs PB/MM Sales
I sell a lot of scratchers in my little c-store, but with MM being as high as it is, I'm selling a lot of online tix too. I always knew scratchers outsell online tix. I think it's the instant gratification (hope?) that drives the high sales, instead of waiting for a drawing. Nice work Joe!

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
Stole business? They stole flats and houses at the point that the immigration is stopped in the north. Well, the guy in Arabia pays some in the harbour for the drugs jobs. We're not jealous on the missed opportunities with drug traffic and sales. Some even have their logos on the bags and pills or stuff. We don't have koala's around here, but we have cute looking tough European rats. Tourism is not on a high. The idiots came here when it was still allowed to smoke inside. Welcome to the f
